  • Patent number: 11390207
Abstract: A headlight control apparatus for controlling an irradiation angle of a headlight of a vehicle based on a pitch angle includes a height sensor and a camera. The height sensor detects a displacement amount of a spring upper member with respect to a rotation axis of the vehicle as a contraction length. The apparatus obtains an infinity point correlation value based on an infinity point position in the image obtained by the camera in a vertical direction. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, the apparatus obtains a standard pitch angle based on the contraction length and obtains the infinity point correlation value at the present time as a standard infinity point correlation value. When the condition is not satisfied, the apparatus obtains the pitch angle based on the standard pitch angle, the standard infinity point correlation value, and the infinity point correlation value at the present time.

  • Patent number: 10821883
Abstract: A control unit of a headlamp control device for a vehicle is configured so that, when an occupant of the vehicle performs a predetermined interruption operation while the illumination mode of a headlamp is a high beam mode during automatic illumination control, the control unit sets the illumination mode to a low beam mode until an interruption time passes. The interruption time is set to a smaller value as a vehicle speed correlation value is larger. The vehicle speed correlation value is a value that increases as a speed at which the vehicle has been traveling since the start of the interruption operation is higher.

  • Patent number: 10654401
Abstract: A drive assist control apparatus assists a driving of a vehicle by controlling a light image projected on a road surface in front of the vehicle. The drive assist control apparatus includes a light image projector, a change portion detector, and a light image corrector. The light image projector projects an informative light image on the road surface. The informative light image represents information to be displayed to an occupant in the vehicle. The change portion detector detects a gradient change portion where a gradient of the road surface changes. The light image corrector corrects a projection position of the informative light image projected by the light image projector. The light image corrector moves the projection position to a position nearer to the occupant than the gradient change portion detected by the change portion detector.

  • Publication number: 20150149045
Abstract: In a vehicle headlamp light distribution control system which changes a shaded range so as to track a position of a forward vehicle and terminates the tracking when the forward vehicle moves away from the front of a system-mounted vehicle by a tracking limit, how right and left margins of the shaded range for a tracking lag and the tracking limit is determined is arranged to realize adequate dazzle and improve the visibility to a driver of the system-mounted vehicle. It is determined whether the forward vehicle is a preceding vehicle or an oncoming vehicle. When the forward vehicle is the preceding vehicle, optical axis control margins that are right and left margins for the shaded range for the tracking lag are set to be smaller than those when the forward vehicle is the oncoming vehicle to widen the maximum shading range according to the tracking limit.
