  • Patent number: 12246728
Abstract: A safe driving determination apparatus includes an angle value calculation part that calculates an angle value indicating a face direction angle of a driver with respect to the traveling direction, and a determination part that determines whether or not the driver is in a state of being inattentive to the road ahead on the basis of whether or not an integrated value of angle values during a past predetermined first determination period is equal to or greater than a threshold value, wherein the determination part does not determine that the driver is in a state of being inattentive to the road ahead if the angle value of the driver is less than a second threshold value at the present moment, even if an integrated value of angle values during a past predetermined first determination period is equal to or greater than a first threshold value.

  • Patent number: 12218540
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a control device for a secondary battery, and the control device includes a controller configured to correct battery characteristics on an open circuit voltage to a remaining capacity of the secondary battery. In the control device for the secondary battery, the controller acquires data of a plurality of open circuit voltages in the battery characteristics during charging the secondary battery. When the secondary battery is fully charged, the controller corrects the open circuit voltages between respective pairs selected and combined from at least one part of the data of the plurality of open circuit voltages. The controller weighted-averages and corrects full charge capacities, which are calculated by the correction of the open circuit voltages between the respective data pairs, with differences each between respective remaining capacities each corresponding between the respective data pairs.

  • Patent number: 12097802
Abstract: A safe driving determination apparatus includes an angle value identification part that identifies an angle value indicating a face direction angle of a driver with respect to the traveling direction of a vehicle, an offset value determination part that determines an offset value of the angle value corresponding to an imaging direction of the imaging device with respect to a face of the driver using the angle value identified by the angle value identification part over a predetermined period of time, and a determination part that starts determining whether or not the driver is in a state of being inattentive to the road ahead on the basis of a relationship between the offset value and the angle value after the offset value determination part determines the offset value.

  • Patent number: 11443534
Abstract: In this vehicular monitoring device, an imaging unit 2 captures an image of the driver of a vehicle. A driving state measurement unit 70 analyzes the image captured by the imaging unit 2 and measures a plurality of driving states including the eye opening degree of the driver. A travel state determination unit 71 determines the travel state of the vehicle. An alarm determination unit 72 uses the driving states and the travel state as a basis to determine whether to activate an alarm device 5. When a statistical amount calculated from time series data for the eye opening degree acquired from the driving state measurement unit 70 is outside of a predetermined normal determination reference range, the driving states other than the eye opening degree are normal, and the travel state is determined to be normal, the alarm determination unit 72 causes the driving state measurement unit 70 to perform eye opening degree detection processing again.
