  • Patent number: 10935824
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal panel; light sources provided on a rear surface of the liquid crystal panel; a temperature sensor configured to detect an in-device temperature and provided on a rear surface side of the liquid crystal panel; and a control circuit configured to control lighting of the light sources by adjusting a duty ratio of a driving signal by pulse width modulation on the basis of the in-device temperature detected by the temperature sensor. When the in-device temperature is within a predetermined temperature range, the control circuit updates a current duty ratio of the driving signal in such a manner that the difference between the current duty ratio for each unit time and a target duty ratio preset for the in-device temperature is reduced in a stepwise manner.

  • Patent number: 8339255
Abstract: A display system of the present invention includes a liquid crystal platform section (200) which outputs display data for displaying, on a liquid crystal display section (100), an image in accordance with information obtained from an automobile. The liquid crystal platform section (200) includes a DIC (201) which generates display data and calculates a display position of the image to be displayed on the liquid crystal display section (100) from the obtained information and which causes the generated display data to be displayed in the calculated image display position. The DIC (201) updates display so that the image moves at frame intervals from a start position of image display to the image display position calculated from the automobile information currently obtained, when an interval at which the information is obtained is longer than each of the frame intervals for displaying the image.

  • Publication number: 20120169643
Abstract: A gesture determination device (1) includes the following; a coordinate data acquisition unit (10) that acquires coordinate data for each predetermined time period generated by an operation of a user; a first angle-category generation unit (11) that generates a first angle-category at first time intervals based on the coordinate data; a second angle-category generation unit (12) that generates a second angle-category at second time intervals based on the coordinate data, in which the second time interval is longer than the first time interval; and a gesture determination unit (13) that determines a gesture based on the first angle-category and/or the second angle-category. When a time interval defined to generate the second angle-category includes an overlapping time period with a time interval defined to generate the first angle-category, the gesture is determined by giving priority to the second angle-category over the first angle-category.

  • Patent number: 6525773
Abstract: An image processing device of the present invention includes a plurality of processing sections for successively receiving and decoding a plurality of data blocks, which have been obtained by encoding a plurality of image blocks of an image. The plurality of processing sections include an inverse discrete cosine transform processing section for performing two-dimensional inverse discrete cosine transform. When one of the processing sections is unable to receive the data block, the one of the processing sections sends a busy signal to preceding one of the processing sections. When one of processing sections receives the busy signal, the one of the processing sections discontinues data block transfer to following one of the processing sections.
