Patent number: 7672457Abstract: A wireless communication authentication program whereby a slave station in a small-scale wireless LAN system can be authenticated by a simple procedure. A wireless communication authentication device periodically increments a first system timer value (Step S1) for which an optional numerical value is set beforehand. A wireless communication device sets therein a second system timer value (Step S2) so as to coincide with the first system timer value and periodically increments the second system timer value (Step S3). The wireless communication device transmits an authentication request command including a third system timer value (Step S4), and the wireless communication authentication device compares the third system timer value included in the authentication request command with the first system timer value thereof assumed at the time of reception of the command (Step S6).Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2005Date of Patent: March 2, 2010Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Yuji Nagano, Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi, Akiko Kusumoto, Hisayoshi Naito, Shinichirou Miyajima, Kazuyuki Inomoto

Patent number: 7583978Abstract: A mobile terminal is carried by a moving object, and the mobile station is configured to perform wireless communications with a base terminal from among a plurality of base stations. The mobile station acquires a communication status between itself and at least a first base station and a second base station from among the plurality of base stations. The mobile station performs wireless communications with a base station from among the first base station and the second base station of which the communication status satisfies a communication condition that is most distant.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2005Date of Patent: September 1, 2009Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Shinichirou Miyajima, Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi, Akiko Kusumoto, Yuji Nagano, Iwao Hashizume, Kazuyuki Inomoto, Jun Endoh, Toshikazu Senuki

Patent number: 7280507Abstract: If a radio LAN apparatus moves from a communication range of a first access point to a communication range of a second access point, and if communication link between the radio LAN apparatus and the first access point is broken, a memory control section stops transmitting data to the first access point. At this time, data to be transmitted to the first access point are not deleted from memory. After the radio LAN apparatus enters the communication range of the second access point, the memory control section resumes transmission of the data stored in the memory. Thereafter, the next data are transmitted. Thus, the data is transmitted in proper sequence.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2004Date of Patent: October 9, 2007Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Shinichirou Miyajima, Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi, Akiko Kusumoto, Yuji Nagano, Katsuhiro Eguchi, Naoyuki Takeshita, Yuji Ishii, Kazuyuki Inomoto

Publication number: 20070140192Abstract: A bandwidth requesting unit gathers requests for a bandwidth guarantee from a plurality of data communication devices connected to a mobile station, and makes a request for bandwidths for the data communication devices collectively to a base station. A transmission control unit multiplexes packets to be transmitted from the data communication devices, and transmits the multiplexed packets to the base station, during the bandwidth guarantee time determined by the base station in response to the request from the bandwidth requesting unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2006Publication date: June 21, 2007Applicant: FUJITSU LIMITEDInventors: Akiko Kusumoto, Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi, Tsuyoshi Miura

Publication number: 20040223184Abstract: A wireless communication device whereby data quality matching the wireless communication state can be determined at the transmitting side alone. Wireless communication state judging unit judges the state of wireless communication with a master station, whereupon image quality decision unit determines quality of image to be encoded by an image encoding unit, in accordance with the wireless communication state, and image quality instruction unit instructs the image encoding unit to encode image with the quality determined by the image quality decision unit. Image acquired by a camera is encoded by the image encoding unit to obtain image data of the instructed quality, and the image encoded by the image encoding unit is transmitted by wireless communication unit to the master station by wireless.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2004Publication date: November 11, 2004Applicant: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Akiko Kusumoto, Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi, Yuji Nagano, Shinichirou Miyajima

Patent number: 5867769Abstract: A control status monitor/decision unit is added to a transmission power control apparatus which determines a transmission power level of a transmission signal to be output from an antenna via a transmission system and controls the same by referring to a received signal from the antenna obtained via a reception system. The unit monitors the control status in the control apparatus and performs the control of the optimum transmission power level according to this control status. By this, a further higher channel quality than that of the conventional apparatus can be maintained.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 1996Date of Patent: February 2, 1999Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventor: Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi

Patent number: 5809420Abstract: A transmission power control apparatus in a communication apparatus which synthesizes IF signals output from a plurality of channel units and emits the synthesized signal from an antenna. In the transmission power control apparatus, when none of channel units transmit an IF signal, a controller changes the connection of a power amplifier from the antenna over to a dummy antenna and supplies the output of the power amplifier to the dummy antenna, and instructs a predetermined number m of channel units to output IF signals, a reference voltage generator generates a reference voltage corresponding to a transmission wave number m, and a variable attenuator or a variable amplifier controls gain so that the difference between detected voltage corresponding to a transmission power and the reference voltage becomes zero.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 1996Date of Patent: September 15, 1998Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Kazuhiro Ichiyanagi, Kazuyoshi Nagai
