  • Patent number: 8690788
Abstract: A living body information measuring apparatus can suppress the bulge of tendons due to the bending of a wrist or fingers, and has good contact intimacy with arteries, making it possible to make accurate measurements of living body information. A cuff is formed of: a compression fluid bag which is provided for detecting a pulse wave signal, and which can be expanded and contracted by being supplied with a fluid; and two auxiliary fluid bags which are provided on an outer side of the compression fluid bag, and which can be expanded and contracted by being supplied with the fluid. The auxiliary fluid bags have a two-layer structure, and are connected to the compression fluid bag via opening portions, while the auxiliary fluid bags are respectively divided from each other. The compression fluid bag compresses the tendons, the radial artery and the ulnar artery, while the auxiliary fluid bag and the auxiliary fluid bag compress the radial artery and the ulnar artery, respectively.

  • Patent number: 8352017
Abstract: A bone density meter including a light emission unit which emits light toward a surface of a user's body. A light reception unit receives the light emitted from the light emission unit toward the body surface and propagated in a portion of the body that includes bone. A bone density computation unit determines the bone density based on the amount of light received by the light reception unit. The light emission unit emits light toward the body surface at a portion having a thin subcutis, and the light reception unit receives the light propagated in the body through the portion at which the subcutis is thin.

  • Publication number: 20120157863
Abstract: A circulatory function measurement device that accurately measures a subject's circulatory function. A pulse wave accumulated value calculation unit calculates a pulse wave accumulated value by accumulating the amplitude values of pulse waves in chorological order as the compressing pressure changes. A blood vessel hardness measurement unit measures blood vessel hardness based on the relationship between the calculated pulse wave accumulated value and the compressing pressure.

  • Publication number: 20020040372
Abstract: A sticker distribution system and method enabling the state of attachment of a sticker to be visualized by a browser and enabling a sufficient advertising effect. A prize information display unit of a server displays a first page carrying the names of sponsors, conditions for display of stickers, and prizes on the browsers of terminals connected to the Internet. When a sponsor is specified, a sticker information display unit displays a second page on the browsers of the terminals. When the sticker sample, car type, and car color have been selected at the second page, an image extraction unit displays an image of the rear of a car of the selected type and selected color to which the selected sticker sample was attached. The user can register user information through the ID page to the user registration unit. The user preference information transmitting unit issues the sticker sample selected by the user and preference information on the product to the sponsor through a question page.
