  • Patent number: 7312998
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a heat radiating apparatus comprises a shielding case having holding panels thereof arranged at locations substantially opposite to a circuit component to extend from a flat panel of the shielding case, which extends substantially parallel to a circuit board, towards the circuit board so as to cover the surface of the circuit board on which a circuit component is mounted. The head radiating apparatus further comprises a heat sink attached to the holding panels of the shielding case for coming into direct contact with the heat conductive sheet on the circuit component when the circuit board is covered with the shielding case.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 13, 2005
Date of Patent: December 25, 2007
    Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Toshiba

  • Publication number: 20060181858
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a heat conduction sheet is attached to a circuit component mounted on a circuit board, and a heat sink is caused to come into contact with the heat conduction sheet. When a shield case covers the surface of the circuit board including the circuit component, presser portions formed to the shield case press the heat sink such that it is caused to come into intimate contact with the heat conduction sheet at predetermined pressure.

  • Publication number: 20030135852
Abstract: The modem fetches the information about the audience rating from the telephone line. The microcomputer/filter function part instructs the channel to be selected according to the information on the audience rating. For example, it provides instructions so as to select a program having a quite high instantaneous audience rating. The picture recording control unit controls the picture recording unit so that the program as instructed is recorded, regardless of the program currently viewed on the screen. Thus, the user can select a desired program easily without making any complicated operations even when the number of channels is increased.

  • Patent number: 4954882
Abstract: A demodulating means receiving television broadcasting electric waves and demodulating the received television video signal and multiplexed teletext signal respectively to primary color signals of R, G and B and a double speed converting means for time-axially compressing within one horizontal period the demodulated R, G and B primary color signals of both are provided so that the television video signal and teletext signal double speed converted within opne horizontal scanning period may be alternately switched by a first switching means and may be displayed on a picture tube through a driving means. Further, in the case of displaying them, by a deflecting means, the vertical amplitude can be made smaller than at the normal time and the vertical picture position can be set in a proper position.

  • Patent number: 4451850
Abstract: A frequency synthesizer type of the channel selecting device using a PLL wherein the local oscillation output is frequency-divided by a predetermined frequency dividing ratio according to a channel and compared in phase with a reference oscillation output, a signal corresponding to the phase difference is supplied to a tuner to change the local oscillation frequency thereof. A horizontal synchronizing signal is detected to determine whether or not a broadcast signal is transmitted through the channel, and when no broadcast signal is transmitted through the channel. Other channels are searched successively until a channel through which a broadcast signal is transmitted is found.
