  • Patent number: 7222509
Abstract: The holder member 4 is rotatably supported at the tip portion 2a of the sliding member 2 placed on the guide face 1a of the guide member 1 arranged fixedly inside the cylinder C. The holder member 4 is inclined when the tip portion 3a of the profiling member 3 is inserted between the holder member 4 and the sliding member 2. Then the tapered end of the processing roller 6 is pushed into the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder where the sliding member 2 and the profiling member 3 move together in the axial direction of the cylinder, thereby to form a linear groove on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder C.

  • Patent number: 7220548
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of constructing a circular DNA library having an increased content of a desired first dsDNA by removing a second dsDNA using RecA protein to introduce a target single strand nucleic acid by homologous recombination at the 3? terminal portion of the second dsDNA, whereby the target DNA has a 3? terminal portion that differs from the 3? terminal portion of the second dsDNA to prevent circularization, thereby creating a triple stranded DNA portion at the 3? terminal end of the second dsDNA, adding Exonuclease I to digest the displaced first strand of the second dsDNA, ligating the DNA fragments to circularize the desired first dsDNA, removing the linear second dsDNA, thereby constructing the circularized DNA library having an increased content of the desired first dsDNA.

  • Publication number: 20070083039
Abstract: It is an object to provide a method in which a lignocellulosic material is treated with a phenol derivative and acid, whereby a lignophenol derivative can be recovered, and moreover sugar from an acid/sugar solution obtained at the same time can be recovered and used easily and efficiently. One form of the present invention relates to a method of separating and recovering an acid/sugar solution and a lignophenol derivative, comprising putting a reaction mixture of a lignocellulosic material, a phenol derivative and an acid into an amount of water 0.5 to 6 times the amount of the mixture as a volume ratio, and leaving the mixture to stand or maintaining the mixture in a weakly agitated state, so as to agglomerate a lignophenol derivative produced as a solid phase, and then carrying out solid-liquid separation, so as to separate and recover the lignophenol derivative as the solid phase and an acid/sugar mixture as a liquid phase.
