  • Patent number: 11587434
Abstract: A device and related method are associated with a focus vehicle. The device comprises a sensor that senses area information about an information area usable to assist the focus vehicle and an oncoming vehicle to pass each other, a transmitter that broadcasts the area information via a vehicle-to-vehicle network protocol, and a controller. The controller produces an assisting result from the area information and vehicle information related to the focus vehicle and the oncoming vehicle. The vehicle information includes first distance information of the focus vehicle from the information area, and second distance information of the oncoming vehicle from the information area. The device includes a display that displays virtual traffic information representing at least stopping and proceeding of the focus vehicle onto a windshield of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11494739
Abstract: Message display control means updates and displays messages sequentially on a message list screen each time message receiving means receives a message. When input detection means detects a response message, identification means identifies the latest message at the time of detection and the response message. Response message sending means sends the response message as a response to the identified message to other participants upon completion of input of the response message. Therefore, even in the case where the message list screen is updated due to receiving the subsequent message during the input of the response message, the completed response message is able to be sent back to the response object message.

  • Patent number: 10832568
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for transferring image data taken by an on-vehicle camera. The image data and nearby-vehicle information on a vehicle are received, where the image data and the nearby-vehicle information are successively transferred from each of a plurality of vehicles capable of making a communication with each other. Furthermore, information on a line of vehicles is generated based on the nearby-vehicle information. The image data is then associated with the information on the line of vehicles. Display data may then be generated using the image data. Furthermore, the display data may be presented on a display device in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10824296
Abstract: Embodiments generally relate to configuring an application for launching. In some embodiments, a method includes displaying on a display screen at least one application icon and a map. The method further includes receiving from a user a selection of the at least one application icon. The method further includes determining a placement region on the map to which the user can drag and drop the at least one application icon, wherein the determining of the placement region is based on a constraint condition. The method further includes indicating the placement region to the user as the user drags the at least one application icon onto the map. The method further includes enabling the user to drop the at least one application icon when the at least one application icon is over the placement region.

  • Patent number: 10240942
Abstract: A method for providing road guidance on a navigation system. The navigation system determines a moving direction of a cursor on a map of the navigation system, wherein the cursor is movable by a user. The navigation system obtains a road near the cursor. The navigation system determines whether one or more attributes of the road coincide with predetermined attribute settings. The navigation system determines whether a direction of the road coincides with the moving direction of the cursor, in response to determining that the one or more attributes of the road coincide with the predetermined attribute settings. The navigation system determines to provide guidance, in response to determining that the direction of the road coincides with the moving direction of the cursor.

  • Publication number: 20180096305
Abstract: Message display control means updates and displays messages sequentially on a message list screen each time message receiving means receives a message. When input detection means detects a response message, identification means identifies the latest message at the time of detection and the response message. Response message sending means sends the response message as a response to the identified message to other participants upon completion of input of the response message. Therefore, even in the case where the message list screen is updated due to receiving the subsequent message during the input of the response message, the completed response message is able to be sent back to the response object message.
