  • Patent number: 11768141
Abstract: An object hardness measuring device includes a first side portion, a second side portion, a pedestal unit, a load unit, a measuring unit, and a holding unit. The load unit applies a load to the measurement object. The measuring unit is able to measure, in a state where the load acts on the measurement object, at least one of a movement distance of the second side portion with respect to the first side portion and a change amount of the load when the second side portion is moved either at a predetermined speed or to a predetermined position. The holding unit is able to hold the measurement object, and is movable between the first side portion and the second side portion by the slide rail unit.

  • Patent number: 8882617
Abstract: There is provided a baseball including an inner core, and an outer core covering an outer circumferential surface of the inner core, the inner core being formed to have a dimension of 20% or more and 80% or less of an outer diameter of the inner core and the outer core of the baseball, and having a dynamic viscoelasticity loss coefficient (tan ?) of 0.3 or less, the outer core being formed to have a thickness of 10% or more and 40% or less of the outer diameter of the inner core and the outer core of the baseball, and having an elastic modulus of 1.5 MPa or less. As a result, there can be obtained a baseball that achieves a high level of safety when the baseball hits against a human body and achieves a hit distance equal to and longer than that of a ball for hardball.

  • Publication number: 20120244970
Abstract: A baseball includes an inner core, and an outer layer covering the outer circumferential surface of the inner core. The inner core has a surface hardness of not less than 60 and not more than 80 in Asker C hardness, and has an elastic modulus of not less than 0.6 MPa and not more than 1.0 MPa. In this way, a baseball can be obtained which can achieve a trajectory comparable to that of a ball for hardball after hitting and which can achieve an impact force comparable to a ball for rubber-ball baseball.

  • Patent number: 7694352
Abstract: In a glove having finger covering parts, a finger covering part corresponding to at least one finger selected from the third finger (middle finger), the fourth finger (ring finger), and the fifth finger (little finger) is configured by arranging protective members (2a to 2e) on anterior and posterior sides of the same, and arranging stretchable members (4a to 6a) on both lateral sides of the same. An inner perimeter of each finger covering part is substantially equal to an outer perimeter of the finger corresponding thereto. The stretchable members on the lateral sides of each finger have stretching forces such that a stretching force of the stretchable member on the lateral side on the first finger (thumb) side is higher than a stretching force of the stretchable member on the other lateral side on the fifth finger (little finger) side. When the glove is bent from an opened state to a gripping state, the finger covering part is bent with a twist at a gripping angle toward the first finger (thumb) side.
