  • Patent number: 6980205
Abstract: A page template, which serves as the prototype of a web page, contains formatter specifying information and display attribute information. The formatter specifying information is information for specifying one formatter out of a plurality of types (banner, Telop, a plurality of banner arrangements or the like). Display attribute information is information for controlling the moves of the formatter. When a page template is called by a web browser, the formatter is actuated, and selects, arranges, or controls the display sequence, display time or the like of, contents to be embedded into the template in accordance with display attributes, or effects such controls as the reduction of a display area (an area in the template available for embedding contents) to the size of contents.

  • Patent number: 6968499
Abstract: Contents to be embedded in a page template or layouts can be dynamically changed without editing an HTML file or correcting a server program such as CGI. A page template is defined with a servlet that specifies a display area and a display attribute for controlling displays as parameters. When the Servlet is recognized at the web server side, a plurality of part beans that are stored by being related to display-area specifying information are specified. The information for linking image data for forming an object to be embedded in the display area and link-destination-URL information are set to the part beans as properties. Moreover, display-condition information such as schedule information or the like is related to the part beans.

  • Patent number: 6615232
Abstract: A mobile agent is provided with ancestor gene information and self gene information. The self gene information is encrypted information which indicates how many generations the mobile agent is descendant from the original agent. When the mobile agent creates a clone (creates a child agent), it generates gene information of its self generation+1 and implants it in the child agent. The mobile agent moving on the network and encountering another mobile agent on a same place obtains gene information from that agent, converts the obtained gene information by a predetermined algorithm, and determines if the agents are descended from the same ancestor.

  • Patent number: 6434595
Abstract: A concrete activity defining a job to be executed in each place is carried on a carrier agent for movement to different computer distributed locations. The substances of the mobile objects hold a proxy activity which sends out an instruction to execute to the concrete activity held by the carrier agent. The substances of the mobile objects additionally send out an instruction to execute to the concrete activity for moving to different locations.

  • Patent number: 6407751
Abstract: This invention provides various GUI moderator templates symbolizing templates which are capable of classifying a complicated behavior of the mobile agent into basic behavior patterns and defining a desired behavior pattern of the mobile agent by a combination of the basic behavior patterns, and various GUI activities symbolizing an activity of issuing a request in each place where the mobile agent moves around. The operator drops the GUI moderator template and the GUI activity on the GUI builder to join them for defining the order of executing jobs. The user Can also set address information of a place of execution in the GUI activity.
