  • Publication number: 20080236383
Abstract: An electromagnetic operation-type automatic pressure-adjusting valve outputting an air pressure corresponding to an amount of electric power is connected in an air flow path connecting a pressure chamber of a single-acting main cylinder and an air source. A controller is configured to obtain a relationship between a position of a piston and an air pressure from a relationship between the position of the piston of the main cylinder and a spring force of a return spring, and a relationship between the air pressure supplied to the pressure chamber and an acting force applied to the piston by the air pressure. When a target position of a movement of the piston is inputted to the controller, the controller is operated to move the piston toward the target position and to stop the piston at the position by means of controlling the amount of electric power for the automatic pressure-adjusting valve so that an air pressure corresponding to the target position is outputted.

  • Patent number: 7414802
Abstract: A lens apparatus capable of realizing better optical performance by suppressing an inclination of each lens unit more reliably while shortening the overall length in a collapsed position to the smallest possible level is disclosed. The lens apparatus comprises a fixed member which makes up the body of the apparatus, first and second lens holding members which hold their respective lens units and are movable in the direction of the optical axis with respect to the fixed member and a driving member which engages the first and second lens holding members and drives these first and second lens holding members in the direction of the optical axis.

  • Publication number: 20080181594
Abstract: An optical image stabilizer includes a lens-holding member, first and second actuators driving the lens-holding member in first and second directions, a first guide member fixed to a base member, a second guide member placed between the first guide member and the lens-holding member, and a first ball placed between the base member and the lens-holding member and rolling in association with movement of the lens-holding member. Relative movement of the first and second guide members in a third direction accompanied by rolling of a second ball is allowed and relative movement thereof in a direction different from the third direction is limited by the second ball. Relative movement of the second guide member and the lens-holding member in a fourth direction accompanied by rolling of the third ball is allowed and relative movement thereof in a direction different from the fourth direction is limited by the third ball.

  • Patent number: 7391965
Abstract: A lens apparatus is disclosed, which is capable of keeping the engagement of a protruding portion of a first member and a cam groove portion of a second member even if an external force acts on the apparatus. The lens apparatus comprises: a first member including first and second protruding portions; and a second member including a first groove portion with which the first protruding portion engages, and a second groove portion into which the second protruding portion is inserted. The second protruding portion and the second groove portion are away from each other in a case where the first and second members are located in a specified positional relationship, and come into contact with each other in a case where the first and second members are located in another positional relationship.

  • Publication number: 20070297793
Abstract: An optical apparatus is disclosed which has a minimized protruding portion at a portion where a plurality of barrel-constituting members are connected and which allows easy assembly and disassembly. The optical apparatus includes a first member and a second member which constitute a lens barrel for accommodating lenses and a connecting member which connects the first and second members together. The connecting member is formed of a plate-like member placed along the outer surfaces of the first and second members, is elastically deformed when the connecting member is attached to the first and second members, and pulls the first and second members in and connects them with elastic force caused by the elastic deformation.
