    Abstract: An information display control apparatus that is capable of displaying a plurality of filenames on a display unit so that the filenames are easily distinguished and original filenames are easily recognized. A first determination unit determines whether the number of characters of each filename is larger than the predetermined number of characters. A display control unit displays a part of the filename onto the display unit within the predetermined number of characters and to display the full filename by rolling characters when the first determination unit determines that the number of characters of the filename is larger than the predetermined number of characters.
