Patent number: 11240588Abstract: Provided is an ear-hole open type sound reproducing apparatus which can obtain good sound quality over a wide band while adopting a bone conduction system. A first equalizer 303 removes a high range component which is difficult to be reproduced by a vibration speaker 301 and is hard to be conveyed by bone conduction. Then, the vibration speaker 301 outputs the sound over a low range to a middle range by bone conduction sound. By equalizing processing of the first equalizer 303, it is also possible to reduce sound leakage of the high range. On the other hand, a second equalizer 304 removes components over the low range to the middle range. Then, an air conduction speaker 302 outputs high quality sound of the high range component by air conduction sound.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2016Date of Patent: February 1, 2022Assignee: SONY CORPORATIONInventors: Masataka Ozawa, Kazuhiro Sekine, Jo Kamada

Patent number: 8840006Abstract: Disclosed is a friction-stir joining method for joining a first member, having a base metal covered with a substance different from the base metal, with a second member with the second member placed on the first member by moving a joining tool along a joining line having thereon a joining start point and a joining finish point. The method includes steps of: inserting the joining tool into the second member at the joining start point; moving the joining tool a predetermined distance along the joining line in a direction opposite the joining finish point; causing the joining tool to turn back at a turning-back point spaced the predetermined distance from the joining start point; moving the joining tool along the joining line to the joining finish point past the joining start point; and pulling the joining tool out from the second member at the joining finish point.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2013Date of Patent: September 23, 2014Assignees: Honda Motor Co., Ltd., F-Tech Inc.Inventors: Mitsuru Sayama, Keisuke Tsuta, Tsutomu Kobayashi, Shosuke Ohhama, Tetsuya Miyahara, Katsumi Komori, Kazuhiro Sekine, Naoki Osada

Patent number: 7563420Abstract: Object: This invention provides a method of refining an Rh-containing solution also containing at least one type of impurities of heavy metals, alkaline earth metals, and Ag. Means for solving the problems: The invention provides a method of refining an Rh-containing hydrochloric acid solution also containing Ag and at least one other impurity of heavy metals and alkaline earth metals, the method comprising the steps of: (a) adding an alkali to the solution to adjust pH of the solution to 7-12, whereby generating a neutralized precipitate containing Rh and other components; (b) filtrating and separating the neutralized precipitate; (c) adding a first hydrochloric acid for redissolving the neutralized precipitate in an amount such that the mole ratio of Cl to Rh (mole ratio Cl/Rh) of a resulting solution becomes 3-4; (d) filtering the resulting solution to remove Ag as precipitate, and (e) extracting the solution obtained by the previous step as an aqueous phase with DEHPA.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2007Date of Patent: July 21, 2009Assignee: Nippon Mining & Metals Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shoujirou Usui, Yoshio Ito, Nobuaki Okajima, Kazuhiro Sekine

Patent number: 6973013Abstract: A disk drive apparatus is disclosed for stabilizing a track jumping operation of an objective lens. The disk drive apparatus includes a detection section for detecting the direction that object lens is being moved by a tracking operation, and a discrimination section for discriminating the direction of the track jumping operation. A track jump movement then performed based on the detection of movement and discrimination of the track jump operation. Therefore, the track jump is stabilized without being influenced by the movement of the objective lens by the tracking operation.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2002Date of Patent: December 6, 2005Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Kazuhiro Sekine, Hirotomo Yunoki

Publication number: 20030072222Abstract: A disk drive apparatus is disclosed wherein a track jumping operation of an objective lens is stabilized. The disk drive apparatus includes a detection section for detecting in which one of a radially inward direction and a radially outward direction the object lens is being moved by a tracking operation, and a discrimination section for discriminating which one of the radially inward direction and the radially outward direction the direction of the track jumping operation is. When the moving direction of the objective lens and the direction of the track jump coincide with each other, a track jumping pulse signal including a moving pulse signal of a comparatively low level and a braking pulse signal of a comparatively high level is selected.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2002Publication date: April 17, 2003Applicant: Sony CorporationInventors: Kazuhiro Sekine, Hirotomo Yunoki
