  • Patent number: 7671879
Abstract: An information recording apparatus enables information to be recorded in a thermosensitive recording medium accurately while preventing the development of skew. When a rewritable medium is conveyed to a recording unit, the rotation of the rewritable medium and its position with reference to an axis are adjusted. Specifically, the rewritable medium is held between guide pins to such an extent as not to warp the rewritable medium while the medium is sandwiched between a clamper and a conveyance tray, until the rewritable medium reaches the recording unit. Thus, the rewritable medium is delivered to the recording unit with an adjusted posture, allowing the recording unit to record information in the rewritable medium without the development of skew in the rewritable medium.

  • Patent number: 5645361
Abstract: In a thermal-transfer-type color printer, an ink ribbon and a paper are sandwiched between a thermal head and a platen roller so that a specific image is transferred onto the paper in a specific color. The platen roller is made by a rubber material which has a certain degree of hardness. On the surface of the ink ribbon, plural colors of ink are sequentially and repeatedly painted. Hence, after transferring an image onto the paper in one color, the paper is moved backward; and then, another image is transferred onto the paper in another color. Thus, a multi-color printing is performed. In order to avoid a color shade or an printing error, in which a printing position of one-color image does not accurately match with a printing position of another-color image, the paper should be accurately moved forward and backward. In order to do so, the thermal-transfer-type color printer provides a precise paper-feed mechanism which comprises a pinch roller and a paper-feed roller.

  • Patent number: 5394111
Abstract: In an operational amplifier circuit, noise is lowered by using junction FETs as an input transistor pair, and an input operating point and an output operating point can be set at different potentials by connecting a capacitor between an output terminal and an inverting input terminal. For this reason, the operational amplifier circuit can be properly biased and can be operated at a low power supply voltage. In addition, since transistors other than transistors used as constant current sources are constituted by bipolar transistors, the operational amplifier circuit can have wideband frequency characteristics.

  • Patent number: 5285115
Abstract: A comparator device comprising a offset-compensating comparator and a positive-feedback comparator. A reference voltage and an input voltage are applied to the input terminals of the offset-compensating comparator. The non-inverting and inverting output terminals of the offset-compensating comparator are connected to the inverting and non-inverting input terminals of the positive-feedback comparator, respectively. The positive-feedback comparator starts comparing the input voltage with the reference voltage before the offset-compensating comparator finishes comparing the input voltage with the reference voltage. Hence, the comparator device operates at high speed and has a great gain. In addition, the offset voltage can be reduced. A transistor is connected between the differential input terminals of the positive-feedback comparator, for setting both differential input terminals at the same potential at the time the comparator starts comparing the input voltage with the reference voltage.
