    Abstract: A structure of a cushion support member including reinforcements and a joint at which the reinforcements intersect and are joined together. The reinforcements include a first reinforcement, a second reinforcement and a third reinforcement extending respectively in a first direction, a second direction adjacent to the first direction, and a third direction adjacent to the second direction. The joint has a surface showing a first join line indicating a joined part of the first and second reinforcements and a second join line indicating a joined part of the second and third reinforcements. The first and second join lines are formed of curved lines curving from one side to the other side in a thickness direction of the cushion support member, and an end of the first join line and an end of the second join line meet at a same position on the one side.

    Abstract: Provided is a straddle-type seat configured to prevent a cover member from being detached and to increase a crime prevention property. The cover member is configured to close a through hole formed on a seat surface. The seat is configured to support a seated occupant in a straddle state and includes a seat main body on which the occupant sits, and a cover member that covers the through hole formed in the seat main body. The cover member includes a lid portion that closes the through hole on a top surface of the seat main body, and a downward extension portion that downwardly extends from the lid portion. The downward extension portion is locked to a T-like shape protrusion formed on a bottom surface of the seat main body.

    Abstract: A conveyance seat configured to stabilize a position of a temperature detection unit to suppress positional deviation of the temperature detection unit is described. The conveyance seat comprises a cushion pad, a bottom plate, an electric heater which is attached to the cushion pad, a thermistor which detects temperature at a location between the cushion pad and the bottom plate during operation of the electric heater, a housing cavity with a hollowed shape formed in a bottom portion of the cushion pad, and a holding pad which holds the thermistor within the housing cavity by being fit in the housing cavity with the thermistor attached thereto. The thermistor is held by the holding pad, and is positioned between the cushion pad and the holding pad, within the housing cavity.

This enables the heater to be incorporated into the backrest to heat the backrest without interfering with the fore-and-aft movement of the backrest.
