  • Patent number: 6086453
Abstract: Even if it is impossible to image a pattern surface of a wafer that is placed with its down on a wafer table with visible light, a wafer pattern imaging apparatus is able to image the pattern surface (the obverse) from the reverse of the wafer with light transmitted through the wafer. The obverse of the wafer, made of silicon, is attached to a wafer sheet to protect the obverse of the wafer, on which patterns are formed. An infrared camera, which images an image formed by infrared light, and an infrared light source, which emits the infrared light to the wafer, are disposed above the wafer table. A mirror for reflecting the infrared light is disposed in the wafer table. The infrared light emitted from the infrared light source is transmitted through the wafer. Then, the infrared light is reflected on the mirror, and the reflected infrared light illuminates the pattern surface of the wafer. The infrared camera images the images of the pattern surface.

  • Patent number: 5727965
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to realize a branch connector apparatus in which a branch connecting operation can be correctly and quickly carried out in accordance with polarity without cutting a main conductor or removing an insulator of the main conductor or a branch conductor. The apparatus comprises a connector 13 and a housing 3 which is provided with a main conductor insertion hole in which a multi-core flat insulation sheath cable (main conductor) can be inserted, a branch conductor insertion hole in which an insulated wire (branch conductor) can be inserted, and a connector insertion hole. One of conductive contacts of the connector pierces the insulator of the main conductor to engage with the main conductor portion. The other conductive contact pierces the insulator of the branch conductor to engage with the branch conductor portion.

  • Patent number: 5135085
Abstract: A one-way clutch incorporates an arrangement to lead lubricating oil to the torque transmitting members without the use of a penetrating hole in the inner ring or outer ring of the clutch. Instead, a guide arrangement is provided externally of the track surfaces of the inner and outer rings for leading the lubricating oil from outside the one-way clutch to the torque transmitting members, e.g. rollers or sprags. In a clutch having a centering block for supporting the inner and outer rings, the guide arrangement may lead the lubricating oil into the centering block.
