    Abstract: A shock absorbing construction for a motorcycle that has a dimensional standard suitable for practical use for sufficiently absorbing an impact. A shock absorbing member includes a plurality of cavities and reinforcing ribs for dividing adjacent cavities. All or some of the reinforcing ribs are formed with thinner portions, respectively. The shock absorbing member projects forwardly from the front wheel is provided so that the shock absorbing member absorbs the impact by being collapsed.
