  • Publication number: 20230245943
Abstract: A semiconductor module includes a semiconductor element, a first heat dissipation portion, and a spacer. A connection area of the spacer where the spacer contacts the first heat dissipation portion is larger than a connection area of the spacer where the spacer contacts the semiconductor element. Heat of the semiconductor element is dissipated from the first heat dissipation portion via the spacer.

  • Publication number: 20210375523
Abstract: A reactor includes a first core, a first coil and a second coil. The first and second coils each have terminals a and c, and terminals b and d, and are further wound such that a direction of a magnetic flux generated in the first core when a current flows from the terminal a to the terminal b of the first coil and a direction of a magnetic flux generated in the first core when a current flows from the terminal c to the terminal d of the second coil are opposite to each other. A second core is provided on an outside of the first coil and the second coil, and a leakage magnetic flux, which is generated from one of the first coil and the second coil and is not interlinked to the other coil, passes through the second core and circulates around one of the coils.

  • Patent number: 6523456
Abstract: A sliding surface of at least one of sliding members sliding with respect to each other in a sliding direction comprises a protrusion extending along a direction intersecting the sliding direction and fine dimples provided on a surface of the protrusion. In the sliding members, lubricating oil is accumulated in the dimples, and is easily extracted through a drain portion formed by dimple in a running-in operation.

  • Patent number: 6250368
Abstract: A mold is provided which is capable of producing a sound fiber-reinforced composite article utilizing a die-casting process. A cavity in the mold includes a composite article forming area in which a formed product of fiber is located, a molten metal storing area located adjacent the composite article forming area to fill a molten metal into the formed product of fiber, and a molten metal flow slackening area for reducing the turbulent flow of the molten metal from gates to introduce it to the molten metal storing area. Thus, the flow of the molten metal introduced into the molten metal storing area, is brought into a substantially laminar flow state, so that the inclusion of air in the molten metal flow is inhibited. Therefore, the molten metal in the molten metal storing area can be smoothly filled into the formed product of fiber under pressure.

  • Patent number: 6158402
Abstract: In an engine block structure in a multi-cylinder engine in which a piston is incorporated from the side of a crank chamber into each of a plurality of cylinders disposed in series in a cylinder block, cylinder axes of the two adjacent cylinders are disposed to extend in such directions that they are gradually spaced apart from each other as proceeding from the side of a valve operating chamber toward the crank chamber as viewed from a direction of arrangement of the cylinders. Thus, a sufficient crankshaft bearing area can be ensured without bringing an increase in number of parts and an increase in size of the engine block.
