  • Publication number: 20230323208
Abstract: Provided are a liquid crystal polyester resin composition and a liquid crystal polyester fiber both capable of suppressing gas generation during melt-heating as well as producing a molded body of good quality with few bubbles. The liquid crystal polyester resin composition includes a liquid crystal polyester and at least one metallic element selected from the group consisting of metallic elements belonging to from Group 8 to Group 11 in Periodic Table. The liquid crystal polyester fiber includes the liquid crystal polyester resin composition. For example, the liquid crystal polyester fiber may have a total amount of carboxy end groups (total CEG amount) of 5.0 mEq/kg or less.

  • Publication number: 20220136149
Abstract: Provided is a fiber structure which can have both a high filtering efficiency and a small pressure loss. The fiber structure comprises ultrafine fibers having a number average single fiber diameter of 4.5 ?m or smaller and non-ultrafine fibers having a number average single fiber diameter of 5.5 ?m or larger, wherein the ultrafine fibers and the non-ultrafine fibers are unitedly intermingled, and the fiber structure includes projections on at least one surface thereof. For example, in the fiber structure, the ultrafine fibers may be heat-resistant ultrafine fibers, and the non-ultrafine fibers may be heat-resistant non-ultrafine fibers.

  • Publication number: 20210310166
Abstract: Provided is a fiber structure in which an extra-fine fiber layer and a substrate layer are integrated deeply. The fiber structure includes an extra-fine fiber layer 10 spreading in a plane direction, and a substrate layer 20 adjoining the extra-fine fiber layer, wherein the extra-fine fiber layer 10 includes extra-fine fibers having a number average single fiber diameter of 5 ?m or less; the substrate layer 20 includes non-extra-fine fibers having a number average single fiber diameter of 7 ?m or more; and in a cross section along a thickness direction of the fiber structure, the substrate layer 20 contains mixture portions 12 in each of which some of the extra-fine fibers pushed between the non-extra-fine fibers are widened in a crosswise direction.

  • Patent number: 9890487
Abstract: A liquid-retaining sheet contains a liquid-retaining layer that is able to absorb a liquid component, and the liquid-retaining layer is formed from a nonwoven structural member containing a transparent fiber. In the liquid-retaining sheet, the transparency shown below is adjusted to not more than 0.27. Transparency=Whiteness (%) of a sheet impregnated with 700% by mass of water relative to the sheet mass/Basis weight (g/m2) The transparent fiber may contain a cellulose-series fiber substantially free from a carboxyl group (in particular, a regenerated cellulose fiber such as a solvent-spinning cellulose-series fiber). The proportion of the solvent-spinning cellulose-series fiber may be not less than 30% by mass in the transparent fiber. The liquid-retaining sheet may be a skin care sheet (in particular, a facial mask) that is impregnated with a liquid component containing a cosmetic preparation.

  • Publication number: 20170119226
Abstract: Provided is a water absorbent laminate including: a first fiber layer including a first fiber assembly including first hydrophilic fibers; and a second fiber layer including a second fiber assembly including wet-heat-adhesive fibers in an amount greater than or equal to 80% by mass, wherein a surface of the first fiber layer on a side opposite to the second fiber layer has a water absorption rate less than or equal to 10 seconds as determined in accordance with the dropping method defined in JIS L 1907. Also provided is a method for producing the water absorbent laminate. The water absorbent laminate can further include a third fiber layer including a third fiber assembly including second hydrophilic fibers between the first fiber layer and the second fiber layer.

  • Patent number: 8561824
Abstract: [Objective] To provide a box that allows easy tasks involved in assembling and disassembling and a novel plate material connecting structure adapted thereto. [Means to solve the problem] An assembly box comprises: a frame 1 (or 10) that is rectangular as seen from the top and whose four sides are formed from plate materials 11a and the like which are square as seen from the front; and a base 2 that has a placement plane 2a for the frame 1 and guides 21 and the like for supporting the plate materials constituting the frame 1 on the placement plane 2a. A first connecting part 111 and a second connecting part 122 (or a first connecting part 121 and a second connecting part 112) are positioned at corners of the frame 1 and have each a detachable locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is configured to separate two connected plate materials by inclining either one of the plate materials at a predetermined or larger angle with reference to the plate material connecting part.
