  • Patent number: 5060191
Abstract: A ferroelectric memory includes a ferroelectric thin film having first and second surfaces opposite to each other, a first electrode assembly having a plurality of stripe electrodes arranged in parallel on the first surface side of the ferroelectric thin film, a second electrode assembly having a plurality of stripe electrodes arranged in parallel on the second surface side of the ferroelectric thin film to intersect the stripe electrodes of said first electrode assembly, first and second common electrodes arranged separately from the end portions of the respective first and second electrode assemblies to extend in respective directions in which the stripe electrodes of the first and second electrode assemblies are arranged, and selecting sections for respectively connecting the first and second electrode assemblies to the first and second common electrodes and selectively activating at least one of the stripe electrodes of each of the first and second electrode assemblies.

  • Patent number: 4438186
Abstract: In a process for forming electrophotographically a duplicated copy of a document by modulating a corona ion stream passing through fine apertures of a photosensitive screen in accordance with a primary electrostatic charge latent image formed on the photosensitive screen use is made of the photosensitive screen comprising an electrically conductive sheet-like member having a great number of fine apertures, a photoconductive member applied on at least one side of the conductive member and an electrically insulating member applied on the other side of the conductive member, the conductive member being completely surrounded by the photoconductive and insulating members.

  • Patent number: 4325625
Abstract: An electrophotographing method for use in a copying apparatus employing a sensitizing screen having a great number of fine apertures, made in a drum shape, and a transferring means having a conductive base plate and a charge storage layer formed on the base plate. The transferring means is constructed in the form of a drum. During the process of obtaining a great number of copies from a primary electrostatic latent image which has been stored on the sensitizing means, a secondary electrostatic latent image is formed and regenerated on the transferring means from the stored primary latent image.

  • Patent number: 4135811
Abstract: An electrophotographic apparatus comprises a photosensitive screen drum of a radius r.sub.1 having a number of apertures formed therein and rotating through a printing or charging area having a width W at a constant peripheral velocity v.sub.1, a record medium such as a charge transferring drum of a radius r.sub.d (r.sub.2 = r.sub.1) arranged opposite to the screen drum with a distance d at the printing area and rotating through the printing area at a constant peripheral velocity v.sub.2, means for forming on the screen drum an electrostatic latent image of a document to be copied, and means for generating a corona ion stream passing in the printing area through the apertures of the screen drum, whereby the corona ion stream is modulated with an electric field formed in or near the apertures of the screen drum so as to form on the transferring drum a charge image corresponding to the latent image on the screen drum. The screen drum and transferring drum are rotated at a velocity ratio k = v.sub.2 /v.sub.
