    Abstract: An information input apparatus comprises a casing which is held by an operator by opposite end portions thereof. At least one selection operating element is arranged on the front surface of the casing at a location close to one end thereof for selecting a kind of data to be input. At least one value-input operating element is arranged in the front surface of the casing at a location close to another end thereof, for inputting a value of the kind of data selected by the selection operating element. The value of the selected kind of data input is stored. The selection operating element is inclined relative to an edge of the one end of the casing, and the value-input operating element is inclined relative to an edge of the another end of the casing. The apparatus is compact and provides efficient inputting of information such as performance data for an electronic musical instrument.
