  • Publication number: 20150016380
Abstract: A mobile station and a communication method are provided, which are capable of preventing a state where no incoming calls can be received from continuing for a long time even if an IP-CAN Bearer, which is a logical communication path used for SIP and audio media, is removed for some reason. UE 100 is connectable to an access network complying with the Internet protocol and executes registration with an IP multimedia subsystem complying with the Internet protocol. The UE 100 includes: a bearer establishment unit 110 configured to establish an IP-CAN Bearer that is a logical communication path between the UE 100 and a PGW constituting the access network; and a registration processing unit 120 configured to execute registration of the mobile station with the IP multimedia subsystem when the bearer establishment unit 110 establishes the IP-CAN Bearer.

  • Publication number: 20140133432
Abstract: The invention avoids unnecessary transmission of signals, and shortens time for establishing a bearer for a UE. A mobile communication method of an embodiment includes the steps of: notifying, by a P-CSCF, when the P-CSCF receives a SIP signal #1, a PCRF of QoS corresponding to a SDP-A included in the SIP signal #1; transmitting, by the PCRF, a bearer establishment instruction signal #1 to an EPC on the basis of the QoS; and keeping the P-CSCF, when the P-CSCF receives a SIP signal #2 and the SDP-A included in the SIP signal #1 is the same as a SDP-B included in the SIP signal #2, from notifying the PCRF of the QoS corresponding to the SDP-B.

  • Publication number: 20140010160
Abstract: A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes: a step A of transmitting, a predetermined inquiry signal to an HSS, upon receipt of a terminating signal addressed to a UE from a communication counterpart network; a step B of transmitting, the predetermined inquiry signal to an MME; a step C of determining, by the MME, whether or not it is possible to continue terminating processing based on the terminating signal addressed to the UE in response to the predetermined inquiry signal; a step D of transmitting, a response signal for notifying of determination result to the HSS; a step E of transmitting, the response signal to the IMS device; and a step F of determining, by the IMS device, whether or not to continue the terminating processing based on the terminating signal on the basis of the determination result notified by the response signal.

  • Publication number: 20130309993
Abstract: A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes a step A of establishing a connection in a core network for an emergency call originated by UE, a step B of performing “IMS emergency registration processing originated by the UE”, and a step C of performing processing for originating the emergency call from the UE. In the step B, a “Cell ID” of a serving cell for the UE saved in an HSS is transmitted to an IMS. In the step C, the IMS selects an emergency notification device 10 as a connection destination of the emergency call based on the “Cell ID” of the serving cell for the UE.

  • Publication number: 20130272267
Abstract: A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes a step A of causing an SCC-AS to transmit an inquiry signal to an HSS when the SCC-AS receives “Invite” addressed to a UE; a step B of causing the HSS to transmit a paging request signal; a step C of causing the HSS to determine a RAT which the UE is served in response to a paging result notification signal including a paging result in at least one of an UTRAN/GERAN and an E-UTRAN; a step D of causing the HSS to transmit serving area information of the UE including information on the RAT which the UE is served to the SCC-AS/S-CSCF; and a step E of causing the SCC-AS/S-CSCF to transfer the “Invite” addressed to the UE, to the UTRAN/GERAN or the E-UTRAN using a terminating call scheme selected based on the serving area information of the UE.

  • Publication number: 20130246052
Abstract: A core network connected to a mobile communication network and establishing voice communication between communication apparatuses receives a connection request that includes an identifier identifying a terminating communication apparatus, from the mobile communication network, to which an originating mobile communication apparatus is connected, and temporarily signals a first codec candidate that should be used by the originating mobile communication apparatus to the originating mobile communication apparatus. Then, the core network determines at least one codec that can be used in the terminating communication apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20130231103
Abstract: A core network connected to a mobile communication network and a network and establishing voice communication between communication apparatuses receives a termination notification response indicating at least one codec that can be used by a terminating mobile communication apparatus from the mobile communication apparatus. The core network specifies either a common codec that belongs to the intersection of the at least one codec that can be used by the terminating mobile communication apparatus, indicated in the termination notification response, and an originating codec, or a codec that can be used by the terminating mobile communication apparatus and the core network and that has a transmission rate closest to the transmission rate of the originating codec, as a codec that should be used by the terminating mobile communication apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20130223304
Abstract: A core network connected to a mobile communication network and establishing voice communication between communication apparatuses receives, from the mobile communication network, to which an originating mobile communication apparatus is connected, a connection request that includes an identifier identifying a terminating communication apparatus, and determines at least one codec that can be used in a terminating network to which the terminating communication apparatus is connected. When the at least one codec that can be used in the terminating network can be used in the core network, the core network signals, to the originating mobile communication apparatus, that codec as a codec candidate that should be used by the originating mobile communication apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20130142084
Abstract: The present invention is directed to providing a mobile communication method and a priority control node which provide information such as cell IDs from an EPC network to an IMS platform. According to the mobile communication method of the present invention, a call control node (P-CSCF) transmits an AAR signal of the Diameter Base Protocol to a priority control node (PCRF), the priority control node (PCRF) identifies a session of the LTE network, and the priority control node (PCRF) transmits an AAA signal of the Diameter Base Protocol in response to the AAR signal of the Diameter Base Protocol, and the serving cell ID of a mobile terminal, to the call control node (P-CSCF).
