  • Patent number: 11187194
Abstract: A fuel vapor processing apparatus includes a casing, an adsorbent, and a mixer. The casing includes an atmospheric port and a purge port. In addition, the casing forms an atmospheric port-side adsorption chamber, an agitation chamber, and a purge port-side adsorption chamber therein. The atmospheric port-side adsorption chamber, the agitation chamber, and the purge port-side adsorption chamber are continuously arranged in a gas flow direction from the atmospheric port through the casing to the purge port. The adsorbent fills the atmospheric port-side adsorption chamber and the purge port-side adsorption chamber. The adsorbent is configured to adsorb and desorb fuel vapor. The mixer is disposed in the agitation chamber and includes a spiral flow forming part configured to spirally guide gas flowing through the agitation chamber.

  • Publication number: 20210285407
Abstract: A canister includes a casing and a plate-shaped partition member disposed in the casing. The partition member includes an outer frame portion and a crosspiece portion disposed within the outer frame portion. The crosspiece portion includes an upstream crosspiece portion and a downstream crosspiece portion. The crosspiece members of the downstream crosspiece portion are oriented in a direction intersecting with the crosspiece members of the upstream crosspiece portion. Downstream surfaces of the crosspiece members of the upstream crosspiece portion are integrated with upstream surfaces of the crosspiece members of the downstream crosspiece portion.

  • Publication number: 20210025354
Abstract: An evaporated fuel processing device includes a casing having a passage through which gasses flow. The casing includes a pair of adsorbing chambers arranged in series relative to a flow direction of the gasses in the passage. The casing also includes a diffusion chamber positioned between the pair of adsorbing chambers. A first diffusing element and a second diffusing element are disposed in the diffusion chamber. The first diffusing element is a frustum-shaped member having a large-diameter opening portion opening into one of the pair adsorbing chambers and a small-diameter opening portion opening into the diffusion chamber. The second diffusing element is a frustum-shaped member having a large-diameter opening portion opening into the other of the pair of adsorbing chambers and a small-diameter opening portion opening into the diffusion chamber.
