  • Publication number: 20100000699
Abstract: A die casting machine that suppresses the occurrence of surge pressure, prevents the occurrence of burrs and spouting of molten metal, and further minimizes variations in the quality of a molded product on site. The die casting machine comprises a mold (101) that cast-molds a product, an injection cylinder (102) for injecting molten metal (15) to the mold, and a hydraulic device (103) for pressing under high pressure the injection cylinder. The hydraulic device comprises a piston ACC (20) that supplies hydraulic oil to press under pressure a piston (13) of the injection cylinder (102) and an injection cylinder inlet valve (31). The piston ACC comprises a high pressure fast pressure-raising piston accumulator (22, 322) and a low-pressure injection piston accumulator (21, 321).

  • Publication number: 20090242161
Abstract: In a hybrid injection system of a die casting machine, the occurrence of a large electric power loss can be prevented by avoiding a large current at a pressure-holding step and the size of a motor is reduced. In an injection system comprising an injection cylinder (16) housing an injection piston (15) for injecting molten metal to a mold and an electric booster (8) of hydraulic cylinder type, a head chamber (8H) to the electric booster communicates fluidly with a head chamber (16H) of the injection cylinder, causing a booster piston rod (5) to be housed in the electric booster (8) to move linearly and thus pressing under pressure to move the injection piston to perform injection molding.

  • Patent number: 6983907
Abstract: A spool braking device for a dual bearing reel includes a spool brake unit, a spool control unit, and a tension detection unit that includes a rotational speed sensor. The spool control unit is arranged between a spool and a reel body, and it an electrically controllable unit that controls the spool. The tension detection unit detects the tension applied to fishing line that is released from the spool during casting. The spool control unit electrically controls the spool braking unit so that the spool braking unit brakes the spool with a first braking force of 50 to 100% of the maximum braking force during a first predetermined time period when the tension detected by the tension detection unit is at or below a first predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 6973999
Abstract: A braking device for a dual bearing reel includes a spool braking unit and a spool control unit. The spool braking unit includes a rotor element that rotates in association with the spool and includes a plurality of magnets sequentially arranged in the rotational direction, a plurality of serially connected coils that are disposed around a periphery of the rotor element in a circumferential direction, and a switch element that is connected to both ends of the plurality of the serially connected plurality of coils. The spool control unit electrically controls the spool braking unit, and includes a circuit board on which the plurality of coils are installed and which is mounted on the reel unit, and a controller that is mounted on the circuit board. This way, insulation on the coil and on a circuit board and secured. It is also easier to assemble a braking device.

  • Patent number: 5560419
Abstract: In a pressure-casting method and apparatus, wherein a metal melt is fed in a mold cavity and then an oscillating squeeze pressure is applied to the melt by a squeezing plunger of a hydraulic cylinder moving with an oscillating stroke varying to compensate for shrinkage of the melt while being solidified, the hydraulic cylinder is feedback-controlled, using a control unit including a detector for detecting information on an actual squeeze pressure, so that a pressure converted from the actual oscillating squeeze pressure to have a mean value of zero copies a desired alternately positive and negative impulsive pressure pattern or locus representing a pressure oscillated to have a mean value of zero with a given amplitude and frequency versus an elapse of time.
