  • Patent number: 11780436
Abstract: An on-board sensor system includes: a first sensor configured to detect a situation around a vehicle; a second sensor having a higher angular resolution than the first sensor; an acquisition unit configured to acquire a detection result of the first sensor; and a range decision unit configured to decide, based on the detection result, an observation range to be observed by the second sensor around the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230286497
Abstract: A collision avoidance device comprising a radar device that detects an object around an own vehicle, and an electronic control unit that executes a collision avoidance assistance control to avoid a collision when it is determined that the own vehicle may collide with the object detected by the radar device, and the electronic control unit is configured, even if the radar device detects a moving object that moves in a direction approaching a trajectory of the own vehicle so as to cross the trajectory and it is determined that there is a risk of the own vehicle colliding with the moving object, to reduce a control amount of the collision avoidance assistance control when a stationary structure is detected on the trajectory by the radar device and it is determined that the moving object is approaching the stationary structure.

  • Patent number: 11536822
Abstract: A radar device includes a first radar and a second radar that are arranged at positions separated from each other, and of which detection ranges are at least partially overlapped; and a detection unit that detects at least one of a moving direction and a velocity vector of a reflection point existing in an overlapped portion of the detection ranges, based on a first detection result of the first radar and a second detection result of the second radar.
