  • Patent number: 10429512
Abstract: A navigation signal transmitting apparatus, provided on ground, for transmitting a navigation signal to a receiver capable of positioning by receiving a spread spectrum satellite positioning signal from a satellite has first and second transmission antennas; a message generating unit that generates a message signal of positional information included in the navigation signal, and a modulating unit that modulates the message signal by a modulation process including spectrum spreading, based on spread codes of the same sequence as the satellite positioning signal allotted in advance to the navigation signal transmitting apparatus, for generating first and second navigation signals. The modulating unit executes the modulating process using either one of the first and second navigation signals as an object of demodulation at each time of reception by the receiver.

  • Patent number: 9553631
Abstract: A navigation signal transmitting apparatus and a location information providing apparatus are provided for reducing time of positioning with a positioning signal from an indoor positioning transmitter. When an information providing server recognizes a transmitter ID of a transmitter from a mobile phone, the server makes reference refers to database associated with the transmitter ID, and reads SVG map information associated with the ID (including information for displaying a map and information of a correspondence relation between the transmitter ID and the location of the transmitter on the map). When the server transmits data of the SVG map information to a base station, the base station wirelessly emits the data of the SVG map information. When the mobile phone detects arrival of the data, the mobile phone can obtain the location of the transmitter from the data in accordance with a browsing operation of a user of the phone.

  • Patent number: 8174439
Abstract: An indoor transmitter is capable of programmably changing a format of a transmitter signal. A process to be performed by a position information providing apparatus comprises the step of acquiring a received positioning signal, and the step of identifying an emission source of the positioning signal, wherein, if the emission source of the positioning signal is an outdoor source, the process further comprises the step of acquiring a navigation message included in the positioning signal, and the step of performing a processing for calculating a position based on the signal, or, if the emission source of the positioning sign is an indoor source, the process further comprises the step of acquiring message data from the positioning signal, the step of acquiring coordinate values from the data, and the step of displaying position information based on the coordinate values.
