  • Publication number: 20210255326
Abstract: An information processing device includes a server device, wherein a point cloud integrating section acquires point cloud data, and a deviation amount calculating section acquires aerial photograph data with a bird's view on a ground surface from sky. Then, the deviation amount calculating section calculates deviation amounts between absolute positions on the aerial photograph data and absolute positions for point clouds included in the point cloud data, wherein the absolute positions on the aerial photograph data and for point clouds correspond to predetermined reference points and. A trajectory correcting section corrects a travelling trajectory extracted from the point cloud data by a trajectory extracting section, based on the deviation amounts calculated in the deviation amount calculating section, wherein the absolute positions for point clouds in the point cloud data are corrected based on the correction result of the trajectory correcting section.

  • Publication number: 20210072392
Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for processing surrounding information which enables improvement of accuracy for estimation of a current position of a moving body. A current position of a moving body can be estimated with information after removal by acquiring surrounding information with a sensor in a surrounding information acquisition step, removing information of a feature including light transparent information from the surrounding information and thereby generating the information after removal. Here, the estimation accuracy can be improved by omitting the information about the light transparent region for which the acquired information may vary.

  • Publication number: 20210063191
Abstract: A map information-providing system, a map information-providing method, and a map information-providing program which can provide map information while suppressing incongruity a recipient feels are provided. A navigation system—(map information-providing system) includes a storage unit—storing map information for navigation (first map information) and map information for autonomous driving (second map information) an updating period thereof is different from the map information for navigation with respect to at least a portion of a period of time, and a map information—providing unit which performs driving guidance by providing at least a portion of items to be provided by the map information for navigation using the map information for autonomous driving in a case where the map information for autonomous driving bad been updated based on newer information than the map information for navigation at a time of performing driving guidance.

  • Publication number: 20210049375
Abstract: A first onboard device-mounted on a measuring vehicle—includes a LiDAR, and it receives a reflected wave which is laser emitted to and reflected by a road surface and recognizes a curve start location of a lane line on the road surface based on reflected wave intensity. The first onboard device-transmits road surface information including the recognized curve start location to a server device via a network. The server device gives information indicating the curve start location to information regarding the lane line in map information based on the road surface information. A second onboard device mounted on a vehicle acquires the information regarding the lane line from the server device and estimates a current location by comparing a curve start location of the lane line recognized by a LiDAR and the information indicating the curve start location of the lane line acquired from the server device.

  • Publication number: 20210035448
Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for processing surrounding information which enables improvement of accuracy for estimation of a current position of a moving body. The objective is achieved by detecting light transparent region information of the surrounding information acquired by a sensor in a detection step, wherein the light transparent region information corresponds to a light transparent region. Further, in a generation step, information after removal is generated by removing the light transparent region information from the surrounding information. In this manner, a current position for a travelling vehicle can be estimated with the information after removal. The estimation accuracy can be improved by omitting the information about the light transparent region for which the acquired information may vary.

  • Publication number: 20200249050
Abstract: A server device 200 is a map generation device which assigns, to voxel data in the map DB 20 which is divided into multiple voxels, a first weight value for each voxel, wherein the first weight value is associated with the presence of a stationary object and a moving object. Then, the server device 200 acquires upload information Iu which includes position information relating to a travelling route of a measurement vehicle during measurement of point cloud data needed for generation or update of the voxel data. Then, the server device 200 determines the first weight value for each voxel based on the travelling route of the measurement vehicle identified by the position information included in the upload information Iu.
