Abstract: A first authentication apparatus executes authentication of a person captured in an input image by comparing face feature information of the person being acquired from an input image, with registered face feature information in a first watchlist. A second authentication apparatus executes authentication of a person unauthenticated with the first watchlist by comparing face feature information of the face feature information for which matching registered face feature information does not exist in the first watchlist, with registered face feature information in a second watchlist. A host server includes a watchlist updating unit that updates registered face feature information in the first watchlist and registered face feature information in the second watchlist, based on at least one of a priority degree for each piece of registered face feature information in the first watchlist and a priority degree for each piece of registered face feature information in the second watchlist.

Abstract: In order to provide a technique capable of presenting information that is different from the image of a surveillance camera and is effective for searching for a person, this search information providing device includes, as functional units, a collation unit and an output unit. The collation unit collates a fingerprint image obtained by a fingerprint photographing device with a fingerprint image, of a search target person, given in advance. When the fingerprint image on the handrail member matches the fingerprint image of the search target person, the output unit outputs information indicating that the search target person has been detected to a predetermined reporting destination.

Abstract: A detection unit of a situation device detects the number of people inside the vehicle shown in the photographed image obtained by photographing the inside of the vehicle through a window provided on the side surface of the vehicle along the traveling direction of the vehicle from the outside of the vehicle. A correction unit corrects the detected number of people according to a predetermined correction method to estimate the number of passengers including the number of people, in the seat vehicle portion, not shown in the captured image. A determination unit determines the congestion status of the vehicle by using the number of passengers estimated by the correction unit and the number of seats given in advance. An output unit outputs the determined congestion status to the notification device.

Abstract: A waiting time estimation device includes an acquisition unit, an estimation unit and an output unit. From captured images of queuing-up people, the acquisition unit acquires, as attribute information, at least one piece of information out of: the behaviors of the queuing-up people; the types of the belongings of the queuing-up people; the facial expressions of the queuing-up people; and information as to whether or not any groups have been formed in the queuing-up people. The estimation unit estimates, as the waiting time in the queuing-up case, a time that is obtained by modifying a standard waiting time in the queuing-up case through the use of a modification time having been set on the basis of the attribute information. The output unit outputs the estimated waiting time of the queue toward an announcement device that announces the waiting time.
