Abstract: A saddle-riding type vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, a side stand bracket provided at a lower portion of one side of the vehicle body frame in a vehicle width direction, and a side stand supported by the side stand bracket, in which the side stand bracket includes a stand connecting portion to which a base end portion of the side stand is rotatably connected, and a protecting portion which is provided in front of the stand connecting portion in the vehicle and protects the base end portion of the side stand.

Abstract: In an air cleaner, an air cleaner case having an upper opening which opens upward is formed. The air cleaner case is formed of a front wall, a rear fender, and right and left side covers. The upper opening is closed by a seat. A sound absorbing member is bonded to a bottom plate of the seat and housed in an air cleaner space. The intake noise in the air cleaner is absorbed by the sound absorbing member.

A plurality of through-holes are provided on the guard member, each include at least one linear edge portion linearly extending, and are formed into non-circular shapes. The non-circular through-holes are arranged such that linear ribs are formed between linear edge portions, as said linear edge portion, facing each other of adjacent ones of the non-circular through-holes. Accordingly, while protecting the to-be-cooled body from a small stone etc. jumped up by the front wheel, a larger amount of travelling air is guided to the to-be-cooled body side.
