  • Patent number: 8554908
Abstract: A configuration information collection unit 1502 and a transaction collection unit 1503 collect a transaction as the configuration information about an IT system and communication data, and stores them in a CMDB 1504. A multiplexed application detection unit 1501 detects as a candidate for a multiplexed application the software of applications multiplexed by evaluating whether or not the application names of the software of applications deployed to a target to be monitored on the IT system match each other. Then, it detects a multiplexed application by evaluating whether or not one or more of evaluation items of a subnet in which a candidate for a multiplexed application is performed, transaction context as the data relating to the names of an applications performed before and after the candidate for a multiplexed application, and transaction information as the transmission/reception data of the candidate for a multiplexed application match each other.

  • Patent number: 8520368
Abstract: An object is to provide gas insulated switchgear that is able to inhibit heat generation of a pressure container. Electrically-conductive members that are non-magnetic and have higher electric conductivity than that of the material of which the pressure container is made, are provided on the inside and on the outside of the pressure container, while being positioned along a main bus and being attached via a flange of the pressure container. Thus, eddy current that occurs when an electric current flows through the main bus are caused to flow through the electrically-conductive members having higher electric conductivity than that of the pressure container. Also, a current return path for the eddy current is formed by a flow path including the electrically-conductive members. Consequently, it is possible to reduce the eddy current flowing on the pressure container and to inhibit an increase in the temperature of the pressure container.

  • Publication number: 20120256611
Abstract: A power supply apparatus includes a controller. If the controller detects that the internal resistance of a battery detected by an internal resistance detecting unit is relatively high, then the controller switches a first switch from an open state to a closed state using a first threshold value with respect to the voltage difference between a battery voltage and a system voltage, and if the controller detects that the internal resistance of the battery is relatively low, then the controller switches the first switch from the open state to the closed state using a second threshold value which is smaller than the first threshold value.

  • Patent number: 8262431
Abstract: A traveling toy system is provided, in which it is immediately confirmed where a self-driven towing vehicle is located under an upper track member. Two annular light permeable regions (5B, 5C) are disposed in the upper track member (5). A light emitting means (47) is attached to the self-driven towing vehicle (21). The two light permeable regions (5B, 5C) transmit light emitted from the light emitting means (47) of the self-driven towing vehicle (21). It is recognizable where the light emitting means (47) emits light under the light permeable regions (5B, 5C), as viewed from above the upper track member (5). Thus, it is easy to find where the self-driven towing vehicle (21) is by locating the light-emitting place.

  • Publication number: 20080140749
Abstract: A method and device for performing a quantum algorithm where the superposition, entanglement with interference operators determined for performing selection, crossover, and mutation operations based upon a genetic algorithm. Moreover, entanglement vectors generated by the entanglement operator of the quantum algorithm may be processed by a wise controller implementing a genetic algorithm before being input to the interference operator. This algorithm may be implemented with a hardware quantum gate or with a software computer program running on a computer. Further, the algorithm can be used in a method for controlling a process and a relative control device of a process which is more robust, requires very little initial information about dynamic behavior of control objects in the design process of an intelligent control system, or random noise insensitive (invariant) in a measurement system and in a control feedback loop.

  • Patent number: 7251638
Abstract: A Soft Computing (SC) optimizer for designing a Knowledge Base (KB) to be used in a control system for controlling a motorcycle is described. In one embodiment, a simulation model of the motorcycle and rider control is used. In one embodiment, the simulation model includes a feedforward rider model. The SC optimizer includes a fuzzy inference engine based on a Fuzzy Neural Network (FNN). The SC Optimizer provides Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) structure selection, FIS structure optimization method selection, and teaching signal selection and generation. The user selects a fuzzy model, including one or more of: the number of input and/or output variables; the type of fuzzy inference; and the preliminary type of membership functions. A Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used to optimize linguistic variable parameters and the input-output training patterns. A GA is also used to optimize the rule base, using the fuzzy model, optimal linguistic variable parameters, and a teaching signal. The GA produces a near-optimal FNN.
