Abstract: An information provision device includes: a detection information acquirer that acquires detection information regarding an object present in a living space including a building or premises where a person lives, lodges, or stays; a detection information retaining unit that stores detection information acquired by the detection information acquirer; and a provision information generator that generates provision information based on detection information stored in the detection information retaining unit. The detection information acquirer acquires detection information regarding a position of an object present in the living space. The provision information generator generates provision information based on whether or not there is a time variation in the position of an object present in the living space or based on the extent of the time variation.
