  • Patent number: 9381070
Abstract: To provide a dental mixer capable of easily, certainly locking a mixing tip to a syringe body, easily removing the mixing tip, and thereby having easy handling property. The dental mixer includes a syringe body 1 and a sleeve 3. The mixing tip 2 includes a housing 2a, a paste guiding member 2b and a plate spring-shaped locking members 2c and 2c. The plate spring-shaped locking members 2c and 2c have pawl portions 2ca and 2ca on the tip-end side thereof, and the pawl portions 2ca and 2ca are locked, by elasticity, with locking grooves 1c and 1c between the syringes 1a and 1a. The sleeve 3 has a shape to cover at least the pawl portions 2ca and 2ca when sliding toward the outlet side of the housing 2a, and thereby to prevent the locking of the pawl portions 2ca and 2ca by elasticity from canceling.

  • Patent number: 6729787
Abstract: An applicator has a tubular body containing a liquid to be dispensed. A non-return device is movably disposed in the tubular body rearwardly of and in contact with the liquid for preventing backflow of the liquid. A manually-displaceable piston member is displaceable in the tubular body in a forward direction for pressurizing air admitted into a chamber located in front of the piston member, and a normally closed valve communicates with the chamber and is openable by the force of the pressurized air to apply the pressurized air to the non-return device to urge the non-return device forwardly to thereby pressurize the liquid. A resilient member normally urges the piston member rearwardly to a rear stop position. An air passage communicates the chamber with the exterior of the applicator when the piston member is in the rear stop position, and the air passage is blocked by the piston member during displacement of the piston member in the forward direction.

  • Patent number: 4844299
Abstract: A fluid discharge device has a fixed member provided with a hollow cylindrical piston having a normally-closed valve on its upper surface, a press member provided with a hollow cylinder which has a normally-closed valve on its upper surface, and which is fitted slidably around the piston, and a storage chamber formed of a soft material, secured to the lower portion of the fixed member and holding fluid therein. The press member is constantly urged upward by a resilient member provided between the press member and the fixed member, to thereby enable the press member to be pressed down freely. The fluid in the storage chamber is discharged to the upper surface of the press member by pressing the press member in the downward direction, and thereafter releasing the press member.
