  • Patent number: 5991313
Abstract: A video transmission apparatus comprises video codec for compression-encoding video data to be transmitted and decompression-decoding video data as received; a first audio codec for compression-encoding first audio data to be transmitted and decompression-decoding first audio data as received; a second audio codec for compression-encoding second audio data to be transmitted and decompression-decoding second audio data as received; a multiplexer-demultiplexer for including a three-channel buffer memory and processor; and an interface connectable to communications satellite network and ground network. In the multiplexer-demultiplexer, video data-first audio data and second audio data to be transmitted are multiplexed and converted to a packet based on a predetermined communication format, and packet as received is separated into video data-first audio data, and second audio data.

  • Patent number: 5677740
Abstract: A video receiver including an interface to which compressed and encoded video-audio data is supplied from a transmission line and stored in the receiver, a decoder for decoding the video-audio data retrieved from storage, a monitor for connecting to the decoder and a CPU for controlling data processing. A common buffer memory for temporarily storing the video-audio data is provided between the interface and the decoder and between the interface and the storage device and, while the video-audio data is being received, access to the buffer memory is subjected to time-shared, exclusive control by the CPU in synchronism with the clock frequency of the transmission line, whereby video data is read out of the buffer memory by the decoder in parallel with the storage of the video-audio data, and is thereby decoded so that a picture is viewed on the monitor.

  • Patent number: 5488461
Abstract: An electrophotographic photosensitive member, having a support, and an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer disposed on the support in this order; the intermediate layer having a coated powder comprising a coating layer and barium sulfate fine particles coated with the coating layer; and the coating layer comprising tin oxide. The above intermediate layer is usable for constituting an electrophotographic apparatus providing stable potential properties and good image quality under overall environmental conditions including low-temperature and low-humidity condition to high-temperature and high-humidity condition.

  • Patent number: 5486440
Abstract: An electrophotographic photosensitive member is disclosed which has an electroconductive support, an interlayer, and a photosensitive layer. The interlayer contains a resin having a polyamic acid structure or a polyamic acid ester structure. A process cartridge and electrographic apparatus using the photosensitive member are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4541667
Abstract: A first reclining back is pivotally connected to a first seat section. The first back is shiftable to a predetermined position in which the first back is coplanar with the first seat section. The first seat section and back constitute a first seat. A first armrest is detachably connected to the first seat. A second reclining back is pivotally connected to a second seat section. The second back is shiftable to a predetermined position in which the second back is coplanar with the second seat section. The second seat section and back constitute a second seat, which is spaced from the first seat. A second armrest is detachably connected to the second seat. The first and second armrests having been detached from the first and second seats can be used to fill the gap between the first and second seats to form a substantially-flat surface in conjunction with the first and second seats when the first and second backs are in their predetermined positions.
