Abstract: A method for correcting wheel speed comprising determining the measured wheel speed and a slip ratio based on signals from the respective wheel speed sensors; determining a reference wheel speed among the measured wheel speeds of the respective wheels; periodically obtaining a correction factor, to be multiplied by the measured wheel speed to determine a corrective wheel speed, so as to arrange the corrective wheel speed close to the reference wheel speed; setting an initial value of the correction factor in such a way to reduce the slip ratio based on a diameter of a tire; and determining the corrective wheel speed by multiplying the correction factor by the measured wheel speed. It is an object of this invention to provide an appropriate and precise correction of wheel speed regardless of an existence of a non-standard tire, such as a mini-tire.

Abstract: A method for correction of the G sensor output of a vehicle. The method is for a vehicle equipped with a G sensor, a wheel speed sensor to detect the rotational speed of a wheel of the vehicle, and an electronic control device conducting computations from the signals received from the G sensor and the wheel speed sensor. The method includes steps of determining the acceleration/deceleration at every predetermined time and the G sensor output value, determining the G sensor zero point from the G sensor output value, and determining the current G sensor zero point based on the G sensor zero point which is determined before the predetermined time.

Abstract: A method is provided that provides optimum anti-skid control when the vehicle is turning. If a vehicle enters a turning motion, the maximum frictional resistance corresponds to a larger slip ratio; therefore, in this method, the slip threshold is gradually increased to provide the optimum anti-skid control.
