    Abstract: The present invention provides methods of screening for and diagnosing prostate cancer and methods of choosing a therapeutic for prostate cancer based on using KDM5D expression level to identify which patients with hormone sensitive prostate cancer benefit from primary castration and taxane and who with castration resistant prostate cancer would benefit from docetaxel plus an androgen receptor antagonists added to the ongoing castration.
