Abstract: A composition for inhibiting the degeneration of cells including liver cells by drugs and relieving the toxicity of drugs to internal organs including the liver contains as an essential component a 3-oxygermylpropionic acid polymer which is represented by:[(O.sub.1/2).sub.3 GeCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 COOH].sub.nwherein n is an integer of at least 1, takes the form of a white acicular crystal and has a melting point of about 230.degree. C. at which it decomposes or coagulates. The present composition may be used with a carrier hydroxypropylcellulose in an amount of 0.005 to 50% by weight relative to 0.005 to 5% by weight of the 3-oxygermylpropionic acid polymer.

Abstract: There are given disclosures on a polyisoprene compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein Y is S, O, NH or ##STR2## .sub.l is an integer of 2-10, Z is a group of ##STR3## R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are same or different and each means a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having C.sub.1-4, m is an integer of 0 or 1, and .sub.n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2,a salt thereof, a process for the preparation of same, and use thereof.

Abstract: A therapeutic preparation for ulcers contains as a primary ingredient a compound having an aldose reductase inhibitory activity and can accelerate dermal metabolism. That compound may be d-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-2',5'-dioxo-spiro [4H-1-benzopyran-4,4'-imidazolidine]-2-carboxyamide, d-2-chloromethyl-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-spiro [4H-1-benzopyran-4,4'-imidazolidine]-2',5'-dione and d-2-bromomethyl-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-spiro [4H-1-benzopyran-4,4'-imidazolidine]-2',5'-dione.

The salt of phytic acid is a non-toxious metal salt, or a non-toxious salt with an organic base, a basic amino acid or an organic ester residue, and has a compositional form together with or separately from phytic acid.
