Patent number: 6872949Abstract: Brightness information of, for example, an average value of brightnesses at an X-ray image of a first connected part when an electronic component is mounted onto only one face of a printed board is obtained. Binary images of an X-ray image of the board with the electronic components mounted to both faces are formed by an upper and a lower levels relative to the brightness information. The binary images are synthesized with each other so as to extract an image of only a second connected part. The image of only the second connected part can be obtained in this manner on the basis of the X-ray image of the double face-mounted board, so that an accuracy for connection inspection is improved. Also, a relationship between a density in the X-ray image of the connected part and a thickness of the connected part is obtained beforehand, based on which a plurality of thickness images are obtained for a plurality of X-ray images of different image storage times.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2001Date of Patent: March 29, 2005Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Seiji Mizuoka, Masaru Ichihara, Noriyuki Suzuki, Haruko Kubota, Kazumasa Okumura

Patent number: 6122398Abstract: Deviation between an upper portion and a lower portion of a screw hole is recognized. This is accomplished by imaging holes in respective objects to obtain a contrast image. The position of the hole in the upper object and the lower object is detected. The deviation between the positions is calculated. Screws are tightened sequentially beginning with the hole having the smallest deviation. The rotation angle of the object to be tightened is determined. From this rotation angle, the deviation of other holes is calculated.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 1996Date of Patent: September 19, 2000Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Misuzu Yokomae (nee Takano), Yoshihiro Itsuzaki, Kinji Horikami, deceased, Kazumasa Okumura

Patent number: 5954148Abstract: A crawler apparatus, or crawler unit, which replaces a vehicle's wheel is disclosed. The crawler includes a drive wheel, a pair of front driven wheels, a pair of rear driven wheels, pairs of intermediate driven wheels, and an endless belt. The belt is wound about the wheels and defines a triangular shape. The drive wheel rotates the belt to move the vehicle. Stopper units are provided at the front and rear sides of the crawler to restrict the forward and rearward pivoting of the crawler about its drive wheel. The drive wheel is supported by a main frame. A sub frame is pivotally supported by the main frame by way of rubber bushings. This structure enables the sub frame to be inclined in the lateral direction of the belt with respect to the main frame. A space is defined between the two wheels of each set of intermediate driven wheels, which are supported by the sub frame.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 1996Date of Patent: September 21, 1999Assignees: Kabushiki Kaisha Toyoda Jidoshokki Seisakusho, Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazumasa Okumura, Tohru Bisaka, Masaaki Kaneko, Yuji Hashimoto, Syunichi Shibasaki, Masanori Kitano, Yuji Katsuta

Patent number: 5737029Abstract: A television reception controller enables the viewer to choose a favorite program from among many broadcasting channels easily and swiftly. The controller displays labels of categories that are NEWS, MOVIE, SPORTS, POLITICS and MUSIC on the top row of the display screen and displays pictures of broadcasting channels of the leftmost category, which have been received in the last four weeks, in small frames in the leftmost column of the screen downwardly in the order of the frequency of reception. The controller responds to the horizontal movement of the cursor to rotate the category labels horizontally and responds to the vertical movement of the cursor on the small-frame pictures and the action of selection to display the picture of the selected broadcasting channel in the main frame of the screen.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 1995Date of Patent: April 7, 1998Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Yukiko Ohkura, Kazumasa Okumura, Akira Yamazaki, Tomoko Shudo

Patent number: 5719637Abstract: A television signal receiver equipped with a picture display controller and adapted for selecting a desired program quickly from a multiplicity of broadcast programs. In response to designation of a browsing mode, many subsidiary pictures are displayed successively under a main picture in a manner to be scrollable in any of predetermined directions. When a desired subsidiary picture is displayed within a cursor, the program being displayed on the relevant subsidiary screen is registered in a bookmark list by actuating a bookmark button switch incorporated in a remote commander. A bookmark is additionally displayed relative to the picture of the program registered in the bookmark list. Then the program thus registered is received and displayed as a main picture in response to an actuation of a jump button switch, whereby any desired one of many broadcast channels can be selectively received with rapidity and certainty.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 1995Date of Patent: February 17, 1998Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Yukiko Ohkura, Takashi Otani, Noriko Kotabe, Hiroyuki Hanaya, Kazumasa Okumura, Akira Yamazaki, Tomoko Shudo
