    Abstract: A camera apparatus (1) includes: a CCD (2) serving as an imaging device; a cleaning member (3) for performing cleaning of the front face of the CCD (2); and a cleaning controller (13) for controlling the movement of the cleaning member (3). Cleaning control is carried out so that when the cleaning of the CCD (2) is started, the cleaning member (3) is moved to a cleaning position located in front of and in proximity to the CCD (2), and when the cleaning of the CCD (2) is finished, the cleaning member (3) is moved to a retracted position retracted from the cleaning position. The camera apparatus itself is provided with the function of cleaning the imaging device, thereby enabling reduction in time and effort for a cleaning operation performed on the imaging device.

    Abstract: A bending sensor of the invention is formed of a flexible segment, a pressure-sensitive electrically-conductive resin film formed on the flexible segment, and a pair of electrodes to be attached to the resin film. The resin film is made of pressure-sensitive electroconductive ink and coated on the segment. The resin film has a characteristic such that an electric resistance value is reduced as a pressure on the resin film increases. When the segment is bend-formed at an inflection point by receiving an outer force, the segment provides a pressure to the resin film at the inflection point to produce an inner stress in the resin film. When the segment is bent-deformed, the electrodes output a resistance change of the resin film to thereby detect bending of the flexible segment.

    Abstract: Flame retardation of 1,2-polybutadiene based upon the use of halogenated bisphenol bisacrylate reactive flame retardants, for example, 2,2-bis(4-methacryloyl-3,5-dibromophenyl)-propane. Flame retardancy performance of UL 94 V-0 or V-1 has been achieved without impairing desirable dielectric properties and heat resistance inherently possessed by 1,2-polybutadiene. If an aromatic bismaleimide modifier, for example, N,N'-4,4'-diphenylmethane bismaleimide, is jointly used, a thermal expansion coefficient less than a half of the thermal expansion coefficient of cured 1,2-polybutadiene can be achieved.
