    Abstract: A magnetic recording apparatus for electrocardiographs wherein an input signal is converted into a digital signal, such digital signal is accumulated and intermittently recorded, thereby enabling electric power consumption to be reduced and efficiency of use to be improved. Parallel memories are used to store the digital signal at a first rate and the digital signal is read from the memories at a second rate higher than the first rate.
