  • Patent number: 4902049
Abstract: A structure comprising two interconnected metal tubes used for supplying oil or air. The first tube inserted in the second tube has a tubular wall at its one end and an outwardly swelling circumferential wall formed inside the tubular wall. The second tube has plural slots arranged circumferentially. A seal member is sandwiched between both tubes. A binding band is wound around the slots to compress the portion having the slots, for fastening the tubes together.

  • Patent number: 4844379
Abstract: Herein disclosed is a slender pipe fixing clamp which comprises a clamp device made of a metal strip and including: a clamping wall curved widthwise from the longitudinally central portion of the metal strip; and a pair of flat walls exdending in a face-to-face relation from the two ends of the clamping wall and having mounting through holes generally registered with each other. A retaining hole is formed in one of the flat walls in the vicinity of the root of the clamping wall whereas a retaining tongue is raised from the other of the flat walls such that it can be removably retained through the retaining hole.

  • Patent number: 4832377
Abstract: An improved fixing arrangement includes a planar flange having a mounting hole formed through an axial portion thereof, a radially expanded portion being formed in a portion of the peripheral surface of the mounting hole for receiving an annular resilient sealing member; and a pipe having one end provided with an pipe-diameter portion and a radially expanding annular portion. The radially expanding annular portion is engaged with the peripheral edge of the mounting hole which is formed on the back side of the flange to insert the pipe-diameter portion into the mounting hole. In addition, within the mounting hole, the end of the pipe-diameter portion is enlarged or a part of the pipe-diameter portion is radially expanded to press the resilient sealing member and to clamp the radially inwardly projecting peripheral edge of the mounting hole between the radially expanded portion and the enlarged end or radially expanded end portion, thereby fixedly connecting the flange and the pipe.

  • Patent number: 4826114
Abstract: A combination of at least one pipe and a plurality of clamping members for construction a pipeline. The pipe includes a plurality of diametrically deformed portions each having a partly circular cross section defining at least one recessed flat wall portion and a pair of shoulders located at the opposite ends, respectively, of the flat wall portion which are spaced apart from each other along the length of the pipe. The clamping members are spaced apart from one another along the pipe. Each clamping member is formed from a strip and is folded back at least at one end thereof to form a partly cylindrical wall fitted about one of the diametrically deformed portions of the pipe and held between the shoulders.

  • Patent number: 4776616
Abstract: An improved coupling for connecting a pipe joint and a metal pipe which has a relatively small diameter not exceeding about 30 mm and a wall thickness not exceeding about 2 mm is offered. The coupling is often used to form a pipeline for supplying oil, air, etc. to an automobile, machine or apparatus, or collecting exhaust gas, etc. The coupling is to connect a metal pipe to a pipe joint having a bore defining a fluid passageway, wherein the joint includes a cylindrical wall portion extending from an annular shoulder, and the pipe extends into the cylindrical wall portion and has an end provided with a radially outwardly projecting flange. An elastic seal ring is provided adjacent to the shoulder and the flange. A cylindrical member is disposed between the cylindrical wall portion and the pipe for holding the flange and the seal ring against the shoulder, the cylindrical wall portion having a radially inwardly bent end holding the cylindrical member.
