  • Publication number: 20160346042
Abstract: A tubular endoprosthesis designing apparatus that designs a stent graft to be housed in a sheath includes a three-dimensional model generating unit, a simulation unit, and an opening position determination unit. The three-dimensional model generating unit generates a three-dimensional model of a blood vessel in which a stent graft is to be implanted. The simulation unit simulates a state in which a sheath is inserted into the three-dimensional model generated by the three-dimensional model generating unit. The opening position determination unit determines the position of the opening to be formed in the tubular wall of the stent graft based on the simulation result obtained by the simulation unit and the information with respect to the shape of twisting of the blood vessel in a region in which the stent graft is to be implanted.

  • Patent number: 8852259
Abstract: A tubular medical treatment instrument indwelling device for indwelling a stent graft expandable in the radial direction, includes a tubular sheath, a rod member configured to move forward and backward inside the sheath along the axial direction of the sheath, and a front tip provided in the forward end portion of the rod member and includes, formed therein, an engaging portion being engageable with an engagement portion provided in the stent graft. The engaging portion is formed in a position where it is hided inside the sheath when the forward end portion of the sheath is sealed with the front tip. The tubular medical treatment instrument indwelling device is capable of inhibiting damaging of a blood vessel or freeing of parietal thrombus/parietal atheroma from occurring.
