  • Patent number: 8927289
Abstract: Provided are an atmospheric corrosion test procedure and an apparatus used for the test. The procedure involves a salt spray step for supplying salt content containing chloride ions on the surfaces of test pieces placed in a thermo-humidistat chamber and a subsequent dry-wet cyclic step including a dry sub-step for drying the surface of the test pieces in the thermo-humidistat chamber at a low relative humidity and a subsequent wet sub-step at a higher relative humidity than that in the dry sub-step, which are cycled. The salt content is supplied by spraying the salt water in the salt spray step. An exhaust step for removing the salt mist sprayed inside thermo-humidistat chamber is further inserted between the salt deposition step and the dry sub-step. The quantity of the salt content deposited on the surfaces of the test pieces is controlled by adjusting the quantity of the sprayed salt water.

  • Patent number: 7667343
Abstract: A wind turbine-driven hydrogen production system controlling a power converter system such that the wind turbine stays in its operable range for a longer time and thus the hydrogen production system produces hydrogen for a longer time. The wind turbine-driven hydrogen production system varies an amount of electrical current supplied to an electrolytic hydrogen production system according to the rotational speed of the wind turbine to reduce variations in the rotational speed. Furthermore, the pitch angle of the wind turbine varies according to the speed. Thus, variations in the speed of the wind turbine can be reduced. A permanent-magnet generator is used as the electricity generator of the wind turbine to obtain a power supply at start-up. Alternatively, a power storage system used as assistive equipment at start-up is supplementarily added or only a power supply for the controllers is supplied from a system.

  • Publication number: 20090008223
Abstract: There is provided a feed conveying apparatus in which the occurrence of a trouble due to a looseness of a disk cable is certainly prevented and feed is efficiently and stably conveyed into a feed conveying path by the disk cable without being left in the path. A cable driving unit has a looseness eliminating member for guiding the feeding direction of the disk cable and eliminating the looseness at a feeding start position where the disk cable is fed out from a tooth portion of the outer circumference of the driving wheel toward the downstream side in the tangential direction. The feed conveying path formed by a pipe or the like is equipped with a cable pressing metal fitting for guiding the disk cable along a bottom surface portion in the feed conveying path while suppressing the floating of the disk cable running in the feed conveying path from an upper position.
