  • Patent number: 4555713
Abstract: A power source circuit for a charge and deflection type ink jet printer which supplies deflection voltages to at least two separate deflection electrodes. The circuit performs a control such that output voltages of two shapers commonly connected to a secondary winding of a transformer are substantially equal to each other.

  • Patent number: 4494178
Abstract: A switching regulator includes a first full-wave rectifier for rectifying an input a.c. voltage, at least one power switch connected between the first rectifier and the primary winding of a pulse transformer whose secondary winding is connected through a second full-wave rectifier and a filter to a pair of output terminals across which a regulated d.c. output voltage appears, and a control circuit comprised of a level-shift circuit, a comparator and a pulse width modulator for controlling the on/off condition of the power switch, whereby the pulse width modulator supplies a pulse modulated signal to turn the power switch on only when the comparator supplies a high level signal to the pulse width modulator.

  • Patent number: 4467183
Abstract: A liquid temperature control apparatus controllably heats a liquid from a temperature before a control to a desired reference temperature by varying the magnitude and/or application time period of a power for energizing a heater on the basis of a difference between a voltage corresponding to the actual temperature before a control and a reference voltage corresponding to the reference temperature. The parameter on which the magnitude and/or application time period of the heater power is to be based may be the sum of a first voltage differential between a voltage corresponding to the actual temperature before a control and the reference voltage and a second voltage differential between a voltage corresponding to an actual temperature after the start of a control and the reference voltage.

  • Patent number: 4459469
Abstract: A liquid temperature control apparatus for an ink jet printer has a first ink temperature sensor located adjacent but at a spacing from an ink ejection head and a second ink temperature sensor mounted on a heater. The two sensors have an identical temperature coefficient. A voltage supply to the heater is controlled in accordance with a difference between a reference voltage and a sum voltage of outputs of the two sensors. The voltage supply to the heater is further controlled on the basis of an apparent reference voltage, which is a difference between an output voltage of the first sensor and a reference voltage which provides a predetermined temperature, and an output voltage of the second sensor. The two sensors are located before and after the heater. The differential voltage is coupled to the heater after being power-amplified by a power element for output. The power element is mounted on a support member for supporting a filter which is positioned immediately ahead of the first sensor.

  • Patent number: 4165514
Abstract: An electrostatic recording multi-stylus electrode device is capable of reducing significantly the electrostatic capacity between the connecting wires and between the lead wires of the multiple stylus electrodes of the electrode device by providing a plurality of insulating base plates, for supporting the wires, for each row of the multiple stylus electrodes so as to dispose the wires sufficiently apart from each other.

  • Patent number: 4158848
Abstract: The device comprises multiple stylus electrodes embedded in a row in an electrode support member, a plurality of common connecting conductive members which are arranged at substantially the same distance from the row of multiple stylus electrodes, parallel to each other with substantially the same distance therebetween, and which are disposed on a curved insulating base plate so that the lead wires for connecting the multiple stylus electrodes to the common connecting conductive members are substantially the same in length. The lead wires are arranged so as to be spaced from each other as far as possible for making uniform the distribution of the capacity of the capacitors formed between the respective lead wires and for reducing the absolute value of the capacity of the capacitors.
