  • Publication number: 20110205366
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an air conditioning control system is connected to a camera device, which is installed in an interior as an inside of a room and an air conditioning control target, and to an air conditioner that performs air conditioning for the interior as the air conditioning target, the air conditioning control system includes: an activity amount calculation unit; a current comfort index value calculation unit; a control parameter calculation unit; and an air conditioner control unit. The activity amount calculation unit acquires and analyzes image information formed by imaging the interior as the air conditioning control target from the camera device, and calculates an activity amount of a person present in the room based on the image information. The current comfort index value calculation unit calculates a current comfort index value of the person present in the room based on the activity amount.

  • Publication number: 20110205371
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus connected to a camera device that images a processing target includes: an image information acquisition unit; an accumulation subtraction image information creation unit; a feature amount information creation unit; and an action content identification unit. The image information acquisition unit sequentially acquires, from the camera device, image information formed by imaging the processing target thereby. Based on a temporal change of the image information acquired by the image information acquisition unit, the accumulation subtraction image information creation unit accumulates subtraction information for a predetermined period, which is made by motions of a person present in a room, and creates multivalued accumulation subtraction image information.

  • Publication number: 20110050875
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a behavior detection apparatus includes an image acquisition unit, a characteristic acquisition unit, a behavior identification unit, and a detection unit. The image acquisition unit is configured to acquire the image data about an object to detect. The characteristic acquisition unit is configured to acquire characteristic data about the object, from the image data. The behavior identification unit is configured to identify the behavior of the object on the basis of the characteristic data. The detection unit is configured to compare the behavior identified by the behavior identification unit with the scheduled behavioral data representing the behavior the object is supposed to exhibit, thereby to detect abnormal behavior by the object.

  • Publication number: 20020003899
Abstract: A system and method are described to accurately determine input data provided in a plurality of different formats, for example, on different areas of a statement. Where a bar code with check digits is present the sum is displayed, and a confirm key used to confirm the accuracy of the input data. If bar codes with check digits are not present or are not read normally, but an OCR sum area with check digits is present, then this data will be used. If an OCR sum area with check digits is not present (or are not read normally) but a handwritten area is present and normally read, that data will be used, again subject to a confirmation.
