  • Patent number: 8798512
Abstract: A method for producing a printed material, a method for producing a dye-printed material, a printing apparatus, and a dye-printing system have a good transfer property when a dry toner including a dye is electrostatically transferred to a base material, such as a fabric, based on an electrophotographic system or the like. The methods include a step of providing at least one type of dry toner containing a dye component and a binder resin to a charged body, a step of transferring the dry toner from the charged body to a base material, and a step of fixing the dry toner on the base material. In the transfer step, an electric field is applied between the charged body and the base material to fly the dry toner on the charged body from the charged body to the base material.

  • Patent number: 6604258
Abstract: A cargo handling system for a narrow body freighter aircraft employs caster rollers. The cargo handling system includes a horizontal panel disposed along a deck surface of the aircraft, and a plurality of caster rollers having a narrow body roller plane height. Each caster roller includes a roller bearing assembly for providing horizontal movement to a load along an axis of motion. A thrust bearing assembly aligns the roller bearing assembly with the axis of motion. A roller bearing support structure suspends the roller bearing assembly at an offset position at the narrow body roller plane height. The thrust bearing assembly includes a plurality of radially positioned needle bearings, and the roller bearing assembly uses roller bearings having a torus-like structure. The bearing assemblies are made of stainless steel to resist foreign object damage.

  • Patent number: 6522157
Abstract: An IC under test can be tested in a suitable temperature environment merely by connecting a test head to an automatic handler, without complicated operations. The automatic handler is connected to the test head through a piping portion in the automatic hander and a piping portion in the test head. The automatic hander has a dry air supply unit which keeps a testing environment of the IC under test by supplying dry air to the test head through the piping portions. The automatic handler has a lead hole, while the test head has a connection hole leading to the lead hole when the automatic handler and the test head are connected to each other.

  • Patent number: 6450744
Abstract: A cargo restraint system for retaining a cargo pallet. The cargo restraint system comprising a frame having a receiving channel and a pallet latching member. The pallet latching member is rotatably coupled at a first end to the frame for pivotal movement between a stowed position and a retaining position. The latch member includes a pair of camming surfaces that are engageable with the cargo pallet during an overriding movement of the cargo pallet, which forces the pallet latching member into the stowed position. The pallet latching member has an overall maximum width that is less than a width of the receiving channel of the frame to eliminate any wing-like feature and minimize the potential for damage to the pallet latching member caused by inadvertent snagging of the pallet latching member by the cargo pallet.

  • Publication number: 20020079468
Abstract: An autohandler for transporting a carrier which accommodates a plurality of electronic parts therein, to a test section to test electrical characteristics of the electronic parts. The autohandler comprises: a preheating section for heating or cooling the electronic parts to be tested, to a predetermined temperature; a test section for measuring electrical characteristics of the electronic parts which are heated or cooled, by electrically connecting each of the electronic parts to a testing device; a dry chamber for returning the temperature of tested electronic parts back to a normal temperature to prevent from generation of frost caused by a low temperature in the test section, and a part detecting section provided between the test section and dry chamber, for detecting whether each electronic part tested in the test section exists on a predetermined position for each electronic part to be accommodated, of the carrier.

  • Publication number: 20020063558
Abstract: Inconvenience that an auto-handler is not normally operated which is caused when an operator forgets the fixation between a test head and the auto-handler is solved. Sensors detect whether a measuring box is in a given connection height or not and also in a connection completion position relative to the auto-handler or not and decision result output means outputs the result of decision, so that the fixation between the test head and the auto-handler can be confirmed.

  • Patent number: 6318777
Abstract: A suction mechanism for an IC, in which a hollow shaft incorporating a suction pad at its lower end part is supported by a holder so as to be vertically slidable, and the suction pad is made into resilient contact with an IC accommodated in a recess on a tray when the holder is lowered. A stopper formed therein with a step part projected downward so as to laterally cover the suction pad is attached to the lower end part of the hollow shaft; the lower end of the step part is located above an IC contact surface of the suction pad, the lower surface of the stopper has at least a width with which the stopper is prevented from sinking into the recess on the tray, and a distance between the lower surface of the stopper to the IC contact surface of the suction pad is shorter than the depth of the recess on the tray.
