  • Patent number: 8072300
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay has a movable block, hinge portions protruding from both sides of the movable block on an axis, having a wide connection portion and a shaft portion, a base block having common contact terminals disposed thereon, and an electromagnetic block mounted on the base block. The connection portions are welded to be integrated with the common contact terminals to provide welded portions. Based on excitation and non-excitation of the electromagnetic block, the movable block rotates, with the shaft portions as a rotation axis to open and close contacts. The welded portion is provided in an inside edge portion of the connection portion. A reference line connects a point of action located between the welded portion and the rotation axis, and a center of the welded portion. The reference line intersects a boundary between the connection portion and the welded portion, which are welded so as to be integrated.

  • Patent number: 7307499
Abstract: A high-frequency relay includes: a base block having fixed terminals insert-molded to expose fixed contacts; an electromagnetic block mounted on the base block and for rotating a movable iron piece due to excitation and demagnetization; and movable blocks interlocking with a rotation operation of the movable iron piece so as to be connected with and disconnected from the fixed contacts of the base block. A push-in spring for pushing one of the movable blocks is provided in the movable iron piece. The push-in spring includes a fixed portion fixed to the movable iron piece, a pressure portion for applying pressure to the movable block, and foot portions each extending substantially perpendicularly to the movable block wherein extending directions of the foot portions cane be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 6107903
Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide an electromagnetic relay with better isolation characteristics. The invention discloses an isolation wall and an isolation rib in an electromagnetic relay for separating a movable iron member from a movable contact member to provide better isolation characteristics.

  • Patent number: 5608366
Abstract: A coil of an electromagnetic device is wound around a C-shaped or U-shaped section iron core. A supplementary member support a permanent magnet roughly on its center and defines an air gap between both ends of the member and both ends of the iron core. An armature is pivotally supported on the permanent magnet and has both ends adapted to alternately make and break contact with end walls of the iron core. The armature further includes magnetic circuit switching members near both of its ends, which cross the magnetic flux passing through the air gap, so that the magnetic circuit switching members are alternately brought into the air gap by pivoting the armature according to excitation and deexcitation by the coil.

  • Patent number: 5473297
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay having movable contactors which extend along either side of a movable armature. The movable armature and the movable contactors are formed integrally with the central support member by outsert molding. Movable contact terminals, which extend from the movable contactors, are molded to the base sections. Connecting pieces, which are located on the bases of the movable contact terminals, are bent to form a rotating shaft. The front ends of the base sections protrude toward each other to form the base. The movable contacts on the movable contactors are positioned so that they alternately contact and draw away from the fixed contacts on the base.

  • Patent number: 5440285
Abstract: In this closed type electromagnetic relay, an insulating resin is injection molded to the surface of a coil block so that a part of a coil wound around an iron core at the side opposite a contact opening/closing mechanism is exposed. A force exerted on the coil by the resin pressure during injection molding is relieved by the exposed part, and a gas generated from the coil or the like after the injection molding is discharged out through the exposed part. Accordingly, the coil block is easily coated with the insulating resin without fears that the coil is broken at sealing time or the coated resin is broken after sealing.

  • Patent number: 5270674
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay of the present invention has a large dielectric strength between a coil and each contact because of an insulative member interposed therebetween. Even if the straight distance between the coil and each contact is small, it is possible to obtain a sufficient dielectric strength without an extra process. Moreover, since a leg part of the coil terminal is coated with an insulative resin, the dielectric strength between the coil terminal and a movable iron element or a movable contact piece is enhanced. An insertion window formed in an insulating plate of the coil helps to insert a thickness gauge with high positioning accuracy.
