  • Patent number: 6454677
Abstract: A control system, which creates a neutral condition if a vehicle is stationary with the brake of the vehicle being actuated and the accelerator for the engine being turned off while the transmission is set in a drive range, is equipped with a brake switch (36), which detects the operational condition of the brake, and a output rotation sensor (40), which detects the rotational speed of the output member of the transmission. If the control system detects the rotation of the output member by the output rotation sensor (40), then the control system terminates the neutral condition in spite of the operational condition of the brake, which is detected by the brake switch (36).

  • Patent number: 6406446
Abstract: The present invention provides a high velocity current producing apparatus in a bathtub capable of producing high velocity current having an appropriate pressure in a bathtub with a simple construction, and capable of enhancing operability, functional property and safety without narrowing the space in the bathroom. The high velocity current producing apparatus in a bathtub produces the high velocity current in the bathtub by connecting a pump to a circulation passage for circulating hot water in a bathtub to components provided outside the bathtub and the hot water sucked from the bathtub to the circulation passage is pressurized and supplied to the bathtub, wherein the high velocity current is used for massaging a body of a bather.

  • Patent number: 6053835
Abstract: A tubular member is disposed between a pair of drive pinions at the right and left and shaft insertion holes for insertion of the pinion shafts for axial support of the differential pinions are formed in the tubular member. First lubrication grooves for induction of the lubricating oil to the shaft insertion holes are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the tubular member. Second lubrication grooves extending from inside positions of the first lubrication grooves in radial directions of the tubular member toward the axial supporting parts of the differential pinions to reach the attachment parts of washers on the rear surfaces of the differential pinions are formed on the outer circumferential surfaces of the pinion shafts. The lubricating oil collected by the tubular member is supplied efficiently to the axial supporting parts of the differential pinions with guidance of the first lubrication grooves and the second lubrication grooves.

  • Patent number: 5943710
Abstract: The invention provides a water jet generating a system capable of applying water jet massage while a bather takes a bath by generating water jet at an appropriate pressure. More specifically, water is sucked in from a water source or a bathtub by a pump, and water jet is spouted out at an appropriate pressure through water jet spouting means or a nozzle so as to generate water jet in the bathtub. The water jet can beat at the surface of the body of the bather, and a complex stimuli caused by thermal effect of water or hot water and pressure of water jet and friction occurring between the water jet and the skin of the bather can be applied to the skin of the bather, attaining massaging effects of the water jet with ease.

  • Patent number: 5918326
Abstract: A water jet massaging system is capable of applying water jet massage while a bather is taking a bath by producing a water jet at an appropriate pressure, and having enhanced operability by preventing sticking of a water intake and a nozzle to the body of the bather. More specifically, water is sucked in from a water source by a pump, and water jet at an appropriate pressure is injected through a nozzle so as to beat at the surface of the body of the bather, attaining massaging effects of water jet with ease. Further, the water intake is provided with passages for water flow to prevent blockage of water flow, and the nozzle is provided with an inclined surface on the side opposite the body to slow down velocity of water flow, preventing a sticking phenomenon.
