  • Publication number: 20230330785
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a welding measuring system and a welding measuring method that can steadily photograph a welding phenomenon in manual arc welding in which the moving speed of a torch changes irregularly. To this end, a welding measuring system for measuring a welding phenomenon in manual arc welding includes: a camera rail disposed along a welding line; a camera movable on the camera rail; a camera driving device that drives the camera; and a computer that senses a position of an arc within an image photographed by the camera, and controls the camera driving device such that the camera moves at a speed at which the position of the arc continues to be displayed within a predetermined region within the image photographed by the camera.

  • Patent number: 9375802
Abstract: Provided is a plasma arc welding method for continuously welding a welding target part of a welding workpiece while forming a keyhole weld on the welding target part of the welding workpiece using a plasma arc. A pulse current is used for a welding current, and the pulse frequency of the pulse current is controlled so as to be a frequency that is synchronized with a weld pool (P) during the welding. With this approach, vibration of the weld pool during keyhole welding can be controlled so as to synchronize with the pulse frequency of the pulse current. As a result, when the plasma arc keyhole welding is performed, a stable penetration bead having a desired height can be reliably obtained without hanging or irregularity.

  • Publication number: 20140312011
Abstract: The method of monitoring keyhole welding with a plasma arc includes the step of measuring output voltages when welding is performed with a constant current, and the step of finding peak frequencies and distributions of welding voltages by analyzing frequencies of the welding voltages which correlate to a molten weld pool (P) vibration among the output voltages measured. The method also includes the step of identifying the peak frequencies that correlate to the molten weld pool (P) vibration, and the step of comparing the identified peak frequencies with a frequency range and determining whether the welding is good or bad. Thus, whether or not good keyhole welding is carried out can be determined with excellent precision by simply comparing the peak frequency that correlates to the molten weld pool (P) vibration with the frequency range.
