  • Patent number: 8524153
Abstract: In a clinical laboratory of a hospital, an enormous amount of effort has been required to maintain the quality of an analyzer, standard solution and control samples. An object of the present invention is to provide a control method for controlling a clinical laboratory with reduced cost, and a control apparatus using the same. In order to control data of an analyzer, standard solution, and a control sample, a support center is connected to each analyzer located in each hospital through a network line. Various kinds of analysis parameters and the result of measurements are exchanged so as to provide each clinical laboratory with a control situation in real time.

  • Publication number: 20070215467
Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic analyzer making it possible to reduce the cost for serum information measurement and prevent a decrease in processing capacity. An automatic analyzer comprises a calorimetric analysis section provided with a reaction vessel to mix a sample with a reagent and a measurement section to measure the color change of the mixture in the reaction vessel; and an electrolyte measurement section to measure the concentrations of electrolytes in a sample, wherein the sample included in the reaction vessel is diluted to be measured in the measurement section of the calorimetric analysis section, and at least one of the degrees of hemolysis, lipemia and icterus in a sample is measured in the electrolyte measurement section.

  • Patent number: 6080364
Abstract: An automatic analyzer has a plurality of analytical units to which analysis items are allocated. When necessity of execution of calibration or accuracy management occurs, a display block relating to an occurrence cause on a state inspection screen flickers. When a receiving button corresponding to the flickering display block is instructed, the related analysis item name and analytical unit name are displayed in the display area and calibration or accuracy management is executed.

  • Patent number: 5985215
Abstract: In an analyzing apparatus of the present invention, sample racks, in each of which a plurality of sample containers are held, are transferred from a rack feeding unit to a discrimination unit for discriminating a type of each sample container. After the discrimination unit, a plurality of analyzing units are installed along a transfer line, and pipetters of different types are provided in the respective analyzing units. The discrimination unit detects information on the length and the width of each sample container held in each sample rack by using an optical detector. A control part selects one of the analyzing units, suitable for analyzing the sample container of which type was discriminated, based on the information detected by the discrimination unit, and transfers the sample container of which type was discriminated, to a sample pipetting position in the selected analyzing unit.

  • Patent number: 5585469
Abstract: Dyeing agents which are excellent in visual recognition of discernible or tangible components in a sample cause no coagulation of proteins, sugars or glycoproteins dissolved in the sample. An apparatus for image analysis of flow type stain particles uses the dyeing agents, and particles of discernible components suspended in a flowing sample can be detected so that images of the particles can be efficiently photographed and the discernible components can thus be analyzed by image processing of the thus-obtained image.
