  • Patent number: 6232747
Abstract: A remaining-amount-of-battery detecting device according to the present invention detects the remaining amount of battery power. The device is arranged to measure the open-circuit voltage of a battery and detect the remaining amount of battery power on the basis of the measured open-circuit voltage of the battery, so that it is possible to accurately detect the remaining amount of battery power.

  • Patent number: 6150823
Abstract: Device for detecting the charge condition of a battery which measures the first output of the battery when connected to the first load and the second output of the battery when connected to the second load, and performs a predetermined computation on the basis of both the first and second outputs of the battery to detect the charge condition of the battery. The charge condition of the battery can be very accurately detected.

  • Patent number: 5864222
Abstract: A charging apparatus for charging a secondary battery, arranged in such a manner that the terminal voltage of the battery being charged is measured and then correlated with remaining charging time and usable time of the battery being charged. The remaining charging time and usable time of the battery being charged is stored in memory and then outputted for display to the operator.

  • Patent number: 5861732
Abstract: A charging apparatus for charging a secondary battery arranged in such a manner that the interterminal voltage of the battery, which is being charged, is measured so that the charging status of the battery is detected in accordance with the measured interterminal voltage of the battery which is being charged and the charging/discharging characteristics with respect to the interterminal voltage of the battery. As a result, the charging status of the battery can accurately be detected.

  • Patent number: 4896224
Abstract: An apparatus for recording an analog video signal in a longitudinally extending first area of a tape-shaped recording medium and for recording a digital audio signal in a second area of the medium extending in parallel to the first area is arranged: to bring the video and audio signal recording to a stop; to record control data in the second area along with the audio signal immediately before the stop; and to start to record the digital video signal and the analog audio signal when the control data is reproduced from the second area.

  • Patent number: 4750060
Abstract: A recording apparatus has a plurality of erasing heads arrayed aslant to the direction in which a strip-like recording medium is to be transported. An erasing operation on recorded information on the recording medium obliquely begins and obliquely ends by switching the erasing heads on and off one after another along an oblique recording track on the recording medium to accomplish information editing without introducing noises.

  • Patent number: 4613909
Abstract: A video signal recording and reproducing system having image pick up means for converting an optical image to electrical signals, forming means for forming video signals from the electrical signals obtained from the image pick up means, recording and reproducing means for recording video signals on a recording medium and reproducing the video signals from the recording medium, delay means for producing input signals with a prescribed length of delay time, and change over means for incorporating the delay means into the forming means or the recording and reproducing means selectively.

  • Patent number: 4554602
Abstract: A video signal recording apparatus includes apparatus for driving a recording medium; video signal recording apparatus for recording a video signal on the medium; control signal reproducing apparatus for reproducing a control signal recorded on the medium; and signal producing apparatus for producing a first signal which relates to the driven state of the medium. Also included are first control apparatus for controlling the drive apparatus according to a phase difference between the control signal reproduced by the control signal reproducing apparatus and a second signal which relates to a video signal to be recorded on the medium. A second control apparatus controls the signal producing apparatus with the second signal during a period close to a time at which at least the drive apparatus reaches a prescribed stable condition.
